- Day 1
Dublin
You'll arrive in Dublin and connect with your tour guide for a transfer to your hotel. After settling in, the afternoon opens up for you to explore on your own. The city center is close enough to walk to, so you can wander around and get a feel for the place. If you want a structured introduction, there's an optional hop-on hop-off city tour available to help orient yourself. The Temple Bar district shouldn't be missed, especially if you want to experience Dublin's pub culture and energy.

- Day 2
Dublin to Claremorris
You'll start the day with a guided tour through Dublin's main sites, then head west toward County Roscommon. The journey takes you to the National Famine Museum in Strokestown, where you'll learn about Ireland's 19th-century famine and how it drove emigration. From there, it's on to Claremorris for the night, giving you time to absorb what you've learned about this important part of Irish history.

Connemara to Galway
You'll drive through Connemara with its wild moors and clear lakes, then stop in the charming village of Westport. Next, you'll see the National Famine Memorial at Croagh Patrick before continuing along Killary Harbour to reach Kylemore Abbey. There you'll explore the Victorian Walled Garden and the Gothic church set into the landscape. The evening is free to check out Galway on your own time, so you can grab dinner or walk around the streets at your own pace.

Galway
Today you have options. You can take an optional full-day trip to Inishmore in the Aran Islands to see Dun Aengus, the 3,000-year-old ring fort sitting on cliff edges. Or you can stay and explore Galway at your own pace, wandering the medieval Latin Quarter or trying local restaurants. Traditional Irish music is all over the place in the pubs, and if you're interested, there's an optional evening show called Trad on the Prom with music, dancing, and tap after dinner.

Galway to Tralee
You'll drive through the Burren region with its unique karst landscape filled with ancient ring forts and dolmens. At Aillwee Cave, a guide will walk you through the impressive stalactite formations, and then you'll see cheese-making at the dairy there. Later, you'll reach the Cliffs of Moher, which rise up to 200 meters and stretch 8 kilometers along the coast. Climbing O'Brien's Tower gives you panoramic views, and on clear days the Aran Islands come into view. You'll finish the day in Tralee.

Ring of Kerry
Starting with the beautiful gardens at Muckross House overlooking the lake, you'll then head out on the Ring of Kerry, one of Europe's most beautiful coastal drives. This 180 kilometer route circles the Iveragh Peninsula past Killorglin, Glenbeigh, and Cahirciveen, with views of Dingle Bay and the Macgillycuddy Reeks. You'll stop at Skellig Six18 distillery to learn how gin and whiskey are made and do some tasting. The return to Tralee takes you through Cooma Kista Pass, Moll's Gap, and Ladies View, where you can see three Killarney lakes spread out below.

- Day 7
Tralee to Carlow
You'll drive through Adare, which many consider Ireland's most beautiful village, then head to the Rock of Cashel, a 13th-century church ruin sitting on a 65-meter limestone rock and known as the 'Irish Acropolis.' Next is Kilkenny, Ireland's best-preserved medieval town, where you'll see Kilkenny Castle and check out the Kilkenny Design Centre in the castle's former stables for original arts and crafts. The day ends in nearby Carlow where you'll stay for the night.

- Day 8
Carlow to Dublin
You'll visit Powerscourt House and Gardens, an 18th-century manor with one of Ireland's most famous gardens featuring sweeping terraces, groves, lakes, and Japanese and Italian gardens. After that, you'll head back to Dublin with time to explore on your own. If history interests you, the optional EPIC Museum walks through Ireland's emigration story using interactive exhibits, or you can just wander and find your own discoveries around the city.
