- Day 1
Melbourne
You'll get to your Melbourne hotel whenever works for you, so the whole day is really yours to use how you like. Take a walk through the laneways and check out what's tucked away in there, or jump on one of those historic green streetcars that'll take you through different neighborhoods. It's a good day to just get a sense of the city and see how multicultural it all is.

- Day 2
Melbourne
After someone picks you up near your hotel, you'll get a guided walk around Melbourne. First stop is Victoria Queen Market where you can walk around the stalls, then through the famous laneways looking for hidden boutiques and cafes tucked away. You'll see European and Asian influences all mixed together. Later the afternoon is free, so you can keep exploring on your own or take an optional boat trip out on the water if you want. Get back to your hotel whenever.

Melbourne to Great Ocean Road
This morning you're heading out of Melbourne to drive one of the world's best coastal routes along Victoria's southwest. The road winds through rainforests and past massive ferns, getting more rugged as you go. You'll stop to see the Twelve Apostles Rocks and watch for koalas in their natural habitat. The whole drive takes you past beautiful bays and beaches before you head back to Melbourne by evening.

Melbourne to Phillip Island
Your morning is completely free to check out Melbourne however you want. Walk through the colorful laneways with street art, visit the historic arcades, or try some of the diverse local food around the city. After lunch you'll head to Phillip Island, which is basically a natural area where you'll see wallabies, koalas, and fur seals hanging around. In the evening you stick around to watch the dwarf penguins, which are only about 30 cm long, come back to shore for the night.
