Traveler•Written June 2024How much actual hiking is there and how strenuous is it? I am 68 and my husband is 72.
- Autopia ToursOperator•Written June 2024
There is about 7kms of walking/hiking on this tour. Some parts may be strenuous, steep and rocky whilst others are perfectly fine. It all depends on your personal fitness level. You can also opt to sit out on the hikes if you wish. Please note, we do require medical certificates from anyone 70 years old and above!
- J
Jane
Traveler•Written June 2024It looks like the last hike might be mandatory. Also, what is a medical certificate?
- Autopia ToursOperator•Written June 2024
It is just a certificate stating he is fit and healthy to do the tour! There are no mandatory hikes, they are encouraged but we would never make you do something you feel you couldn't do. The guide can advise on the best spot to sit and wait for the group as you aren't able to wait on the bus.
