- HSHannah· September 14th, 2025Overall, I enjoyed my first time in South Korea and had a great time with our group and two tour guides! That said, the first four days in Seoul were somewhat off to a shaky start as our accommodation was really subpar (tiny rooms, even tinier bathrooms, no natural sunlight, no common room to gather and connect with tour members) and I’m sure there are better alternatives in a similar price range. Our tour guide in Seoul was absolutely lovely and fun but it’s essential to know the opening times of the sights and be well-organised. Unfortunately, the day-trip to the DMZ and the talk to a defector turned out to be rather disappointing as we felt like we didn’t get enough background information on what we were seeing inside the DMZ. And the talk to the defector, while incredibly interesting, was merely 40 minutes long and a lot of time was used up for translating, so that our group could only squeeze in three questions before we had to leave. This was something all of us had looked forward to immensely and onelife should definitely book a longer time slot for the next tour. Onelife should also consider rearranging the food market tour as we were guided to a restaurant above the market and only got to try a few pancakes there. It would be great to guide the group to different stalls in the market instead, introduce a few dishes and let everybody try samples. What followed after Seoul was amazing though with the temple stay being one of the highlights, as well as Jeonju with the makgeolli tasting and fun Korean drinking games that our guide taught us while introducing all sorts of rice wine. Accommodation improved greatly as well! In Gyeongju we said goodbye to our first tour guide and were welcomed by Eun-Hye who did the rest of the tour with us. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time in Gyeongju, Busan (drone show and Karaoke were a blast!) and lastly, Jeju island. She went on an extra trip to Gamcheon culture village with us in Busan, negotiated with the locals in Jeju for discounts, and stayed after hours to have Korean barbecue with us, have a beer or teach us Gonggi. She was well-organised, attentive and her energy is absolutely contagious, so it was really hard having to say goodbye to her and South Korea after the 13-day tour was over!Show moreTrip date: September 2025

- Paul-Yuma· August 25th, 2025A wonderful tour that covers all of South Korea. We had 1 guide and 3 trainees, and all of them were very eager and helpful in helping us understand the local culture and history (greetings to Yoo Jin, Lee, and Eun Hye). If you, like me, take the 13-day tour, make sure to pack under 15kg, otherwise you’ll have to pay extra when traveling to Jeju.Show moreOne Life Adventures commented on this reviewThank you for your review Paul-Yuma! We’re so glad to hear you enjoyed exploring South Korea and that your guides helped bring the culture and history to life. Thanks as well for sharing the handy tip about packing light for Jeju! - LSLachlan Charles· August 14th, 2025Absolutely amazing! Had a wonderful group of fellow travellers, and Priya was possibly the best guide I've ever seen! - YYana· August 13th, 2025This was my second tour with One Life Adventures. After my very positive first experience, I now had the most amazing time in South Korea. First of all, our guide, Priya, was so amazing! She was super kind, had the best recommendations and photo skills. She had different good Korean food suggestions every day. A good guide is the basis of a good tour. Also our guide in Jeju, Peter, was very friendly and helpful. Our groep size (11) was also pleasant, because I don’t like big groups. The accommodations were sufficient for a tour like this and always very clean. The tour really captures everything there is to see in the country. 5 stars - very much deserved. Thank you One Life Adventures for the beautiful memories.Show moreOne Life Adventures commented on this reviewThank you for choosing to travel with us again Yana! The activities are good and diverse and you have a lot of free time if you want to enjoy Korea by yourself. - LMLaura· July 16th, 2025It was okay. Lots of sightseeing in busy cities which gets a bit samey. There is quite a lot of free time to fill in areas where there aren’t much to do. All the accommodation we stayed in was nice enough other than having to sleep on the floor in two places (one was a temple which was understandable but the other place would’ve been nicer to have a proper bed). Tour guides were informative and gave recommendations of places to eat and see which was helpful. You are given a card for transport too which is helpful.Show moreOne Life Adventures commented on this reviewThank you for your review Laura. - One Life AdventuresOperator•Written April 2025
International flights to and from South Korea aren't included in the tour price, so you'll need to book those separately. However, our 13 Day South Korea Tour does include a domestic flight from Jeju back to Seoul, so that part's already taken care of.

We do have a strict lower age limit of 18 years old unfortunately. Whilst I understand that you said you were not looking for a Family trip, I would recommend Intrepid Travel who do trips for wider age ranges.
