Budapest
You'll be picked up at the airport and driven to your hotel in central Budapest for a two-night stay. This gives you time to settle in before the tour kicks off.

After breakfast, a guided coach tour takes you through Budapest's main sights. Then you have the rest of the day free to cross the Chain Bridge between Buda and Pest, wander through Christmas markets, and try local specialties like mulled wine and chimney cake.

Budapest to Danube River
Following breakfast, you'll head from the hotel to the Emerald Cruises Star-Ship to board. Once settled, you'll have dinner with other guests this evening.

Budapest
A guided coach tour shows you Budapest's highlights and architecture. Then you can browse the Christmas market on the main square near Vácí Utca Street to see traditional Hungarian crafts. This evening brings a special dinner and folklore show with other guests to start your Danube journey.

Landmarks Vácí Utca Street - Day 5
Bratislava
The ship arrives in Bratislava, Slovakia's capital. You can take a walking tour of the Old City to see the Town Hall, Mirbach Palace, and Gothic Cathedral of St Martin, or join a guided hike to Bratislava Castle. Christmas markets are spread throughout the city, with the main ones at Main Square and Hviezdoslav Square.

Vienna
A guided tour takes you along Vienna's Ringstrasse to see the Opera House, Burgtheater, Town Hall, St. Stephen's Cathedral, and Hofburg Imperial Palace. You'll have plenty of free time to hit the Christmas markets for Käsekrainer sausage, donuts, pretzels, and Kartoffelpuffer. You're staying overnight to enjoy the festive evening hours, and an optional Viennese concert is available.

Vienna to Airport
After breakfast, you'll say goodbye to the other guests and leave the Star-Ship. A transfer takes you to the airport for your flight home with memories from your Danube Christmas cruise.
