- Day 1
Arrival in Luang Prabang
You'll arrive at Luang Prabang airport and connect with your driver in the lobby. The drive to your hotel takes about 30 minutes through town. Check-in happens at 2 PM, so you'll have the rest of the day to yourself. Most people use this time to rest after traveling and settle into their room.

Mekong River & Kuang Si Falls
After breakfast at the hotel, you'll board a traditional long-tail boat heading upstream on the Mekong River. The Pak Ou caves are about an hour away and contain hundreds of Buddha images that have accumulated over centuries. Back on land in the afternoon, you'll drive through rice paddies to see H'mong and Lao Loum villages where you can interact with locals. Then it's off to Kuang Si Falls where the water pools are a striking turquoise color, perfect for swimming before heading back to town by evening.

Luang Prabang to Hanoi
Start by visiting Wat Xieng Thong temple, known for its distinctive sweeping roofs and the intricate tree of life mosaic. Next you'll check out the National Museum which showcases temple structures and French colonial architecture. Wat May is your third stop, and its five-tiered roof is quite graceful. After lunch, your driver takes you to the airport for your flight to Hanoi. Once you land, another transfer brings you to your hotel in the city center, arriving in the late afternoon.

- Day 4
Hanoi to Ninh Binh
You'll have breakfast then drive to Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, arriving around 10:30 AM. Two temples here are dedicated to Kings Dinh Tien Hoang and Le Dai Hanh, offering insight into Vietnam's feudal dynasties. Lunch comes at a local restaurant around midday. From there, you'll take a boat through Trang An grotto, navigating 31 valleys and 50 limestone caves surrounded by forested mountains. The boat ride takes several hours, and you return to Hanoi by evening.

Hoi An Cooking & Eco-Village Tour
An early morning tour starts at 8:30 AM and runs until 1:00 PM. You'll walk through the coconut forest of Hoi An and visit a local colorful market to see what ingredients locals use. At Eco-Village Cam Thanh, you'll take a bamboo basket boat through nipa palm forest and try fishing with nets. The hands-on portion includes learning traditional cooking methods and preparing five Vietnamese dishes from scratch, which you'll then eat for lunch.

This day is completely open for you to explore Hoi An however you like. Many people rent bicycles and cycle around town toward the riverside or beach. Stopping at small cafes for fresh fruit drinks is a nice break before swimming in the warm, calm sea. Custom tailors are a popular option here, and they can make clothes, bags, or shoes overnight. In the evening, the Old Town comes alive as lanterns light up the shops and streets, and you'll see colorful street performances throughout.

Mekong Delta Tour
You'll drive to My Tho on the Mekong River and visit Vinh Trang pagoda, which was built in the late 19th century. A sampan cruise takes you to the four islands named Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise. On Unicorn Island, you walk country lanes through orchards, try tropical fruits, and listen to folk music. You'll also visit fruit plantations and family businesses. A hand-row through Thoi Son canal lets you stop at a honey-bee farm to try honey tea and coconut candy. After lunch at a local spot, you cycle around Tan Thach village to meet locals and experience Mekong Delta life before returning to Ho Chi Minh City.

Cu Chi Tunnels
The drive to Cu Chi Tunnels takes about an hour and a half. You'll receive an introduction and watch a video explaining tunnel construction and how people survived during wartime. Walking through the tunnel system, you'll see living areas, kitchens, bedrooms, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers. Hidden trap doors and security traps are still visible. Special tea and cassava (the guerrilla food from the war) are served. If you're interested, there's an optional opportunity to try shooting at a range. You return to Ho Chi Minh City by late afternoon.

Angkor Complex Tour
You'll start exploring Angkor's temples with the Angkor Thom complex, then move on to the Bayon and Ta Prohm (the Tomb Raider Temple). Lunch happens at a local restaurant within the Angkor Complex where you can eat Cambodian cuisine. Later you visit the massive Angkor Wat temple. Before heading back to town around 6:30 PM, you'll watch the sunset from Phnom Bakheng peak, which offers views across the temple complex.

You can start by visiting Rulos market where villagers sell home-grown vegetables, or stop at a local pagoda to learn about the religion. The main activity is a boat tour through floating villages where stilt-houses stand 8-10 meters high. You'll see the school, farm, and hospital that locals have adapted to their water-based life. After the boat trip through this unique atmosphere, you return to the hotel with the rest of the day free to relax.
