Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Arrival in Cairo

    Your tour representative will meet you at Cairo airport and guide you through immigration and customs. After collecting your luggage, you'll head to your 5-star hotel in a deluxe vehicle.

  2. Day 2

    Cairo

    After breakfast at the hotel, you'll head to the Pyramids of Giza and see the Great Sphinx, which was built around 4,500 years ago on a rocky desert plateau. In the afternoon, you'll spend time at the Egyptian Museum checking out King Tutankhamen's treasures including his golden death mask, view the mummies of ancient pharaohs (optional), and walk through galleries with thousands of ancient artifacts before heading back to your hotel.

  3. Day 3

    Cairo

    Starting with breakfast at the hotel, you'll explore the historic Khan El-Khalili old market of Cairo. From there, you'll visit three famous churches built into the Fort of Babylon's walls: the Hanging Church and Church of St. George the Martyr (both among Cairo's oldest), then the Church of Abu Serga where the Holy Family reportedly took shelter in a cave. You'll return to your hotel for the night.

  4. Day 4

    Cairo to Aswan

    After breakfast and checking out, you have the whole day free in Cairo to do as you like. In the evening, you'll head to Ramses railway station to board the night sleeper train departing at 20:25 for Aswan. Dinner gets served once the train leaves.

  5. Day 5

    Aswan

    The train arrives at Aswan station at 08:15 where you'll meet your guide and transfer to your 5-star Nile cruise boat (your home for the next 4 days). After lunch on board, you'll visit the High Dam and then take a short sail to the Temple of Philae on Agilika island. You'll return to the cruise ship for dinner while the Nile flows past.

  6. Day 6

    Edfu - Esna - Luxor

    After breakfast on board, the cruise heads toward Kom Ombo. You'll visit the Temple of Kom Ombo dedicated to gods Horus and Sobek, then return for lunch while the boat sails to Edfu. There you'll explore the Temple of Horus, Egypt's best-preserved temple, then rejoin the boat as it sails to Esna. You'll watch the boat pass through the Esna locks before continuing toward Luxor, arriving after dinner.

    Luxor

    You'll start early with breakfast, then spend the full day exploring Luxor's West Bank. You'll visit the Valley of the Kings to see New Kingdom pharaoh tombs, then the Valley of the Queens with tombs of princes. From there, you'll go to Queen Hatshepsut's temple at Deir El-Bahri and finish at the Colossi of Memnon. After lunch on board, you'll explore the Karnak and Luxor Temples, two of Egypt's finest ancient Theban temples, before returning to the boat for your final dinner.

    You'll have breakfast on board and then check out. The rest of the day is yours in Luxor to spend as you like. In the evening, you'll head to Luxor railway station to board your train at 21:30 back to Cairo. Dinner gets served as the famous city fades behind you.

  9. Day 9

    Departure from Cairo

    An early wake-up call brings breakfast. The train arrives at Ramses station at 06:45 where your tour representative will meet you. You'll have free time after that until you're transferred to the airport for your departure.

    • For any tour departing before January 24th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after January 24th, 2026, a minimum payment of 15% is required to confirm your booking with Agazat Club. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 40 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
    • Some departure dates and prices may vary and Agazat Club will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
