    Marrakech

    You'll arrive in Marrakech and get settled into your accommodation for your first night. This gives you time to adjust to the city and rest up before exploring.

  2. Day 2

    Marrakech to Essaouira

    Head out toward Essaouira, but you'll stop along the way at a Berber women's cooperative to see how traditional argan oil is made. If you're interested, you can jump in and help with the process, then taste the oil itself. After that, continue on to Essaouira and check into your accommodation for the evening.

    Essaouira

    Essaouira to El Jadida

    Drive down the Mediterranean coast to Al Jadida to see the Portuguese fortifications and Renaissance military architecture from the 15th to 18th centuries. You'll check out historic churches and chapels, including the notable Portuguese Cistern, which was originally an arsenal but later became a water storage space.

    El Jadida to Assilah

You'll visit the Marshan necropolis with its ancient Carthaginian stone tombs, then move to the Kasbah district to see the museum with its archaeological finds. Wander through the lively medina around Petit Socco with its markets and shops, and stop by the Anglican Church of St. Andrew from 1894. Then head back to Assilah for the night.

    Afourer to Marrakech

You'll arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon, a city surrounded by thousands of palm trees with palaces, mosques, gardens, and the famous Jemaa el-Fna marketplace.
