- Teresa· October 19th, 2024All in all, Scicily was beautiful! It met our expectations. If I have any criticism it would be that I would have liked to see more of Palermo. The hotels were all excellent as well as the breakfasts served every morning as well as the suppers except our farewell one. The ambiance and location was amazing but the food was so so. The visit to the jewelry place, we should have been told in advance in order that we research and would have been better prepared to buy since we are dealing with a significant amount of money. Our tour guide Fabiola was excellent! She called us family and that’s exactly what we became. The bus was super comfortable and we had an amazing driver, bravo Salvatore.Show more
- Damian· September 3rd, 2024My husband, myself and my 2 sisters booked a tour through Globus 'The Taperstry tour'. Our tour guide Gert was a very knowledgeable, patient and excellent tour guide. Gert made our tour come alive with his history and knowledge of all the countries and cities we visited,any issues we had he was there to assist us. Gert had character was funny and very enjoyable to listen to. It would be awesome if all the guides had the expertise of Gert. He is one not to let go. Thank you Gert for making our journey through Europe a very enjoyable one. Keep up the good work and hope to meet again on another tour in the futureShow more
- Bonnie· May 2nd, 2025Overall, it was a great experience. I only have a couple comments. The hotel where we stayed in Inverness was ridiculous. It was right in the middle of town on a busy street, across from several bars. It was noisy and I (and several others) did not get much sleep. Please don't use this hotel again. The Scottish Evening add-on was NOT worth the money. The venue was pretty shoddy, food was mediocre. It seemed like there was pressure for everyone on the tour to sign up. The distillery tour was hot, and it was very hard to hear the guide. Also, I believe the add-on to Dunnottar Castle should have been included in the original package. Our guide Matthew was very knowledgeable. I feel that we learned a lot of history. I would take another Globus Tour.Show more
