Kathmandu
You'll arrive at Kathmandu airport where your representative meets you for the drive to your hotel. After settling in, there's time to walk around the city on your own before dinner, which is included to kick off your trip.

- Day 2
Paro to Thimphu
You fly into Paro on DrukAir or Bhutan Airline and meet your guide for the drive to Thimphu. Once you've refreshed at your hotel, head to Kuensel Phodrang to see the tallest Buddha statue with views across Thimphu Valley. You can also walk through Craft Bazaar, check out the Institute for Zorig Chusum arts school, visit the Royal Textile Museum, browse the Weekend Market, or watch traditional Bhutanese archery if you have time.

- Day 3
Thimphu to Punakha
After breakfast, travel toward Punakha through Dochula Pass at 3140m where you'll see panoramic Himalayan views. You'll visit the 108 chortens built by the Queen Mother and Druk Wangyal Lhakhang monastery with its beautiful murals. Stop for lunch in Metsina village, then go to Chimi Lhakhang monastery known for its fertility shrine. Continue to Punakha Dzong, an impressive 1637 fortress built between two rivers with exceptional woodwork, and finish with a walk across the scenic suspension bridge.

- Day 4
Punakha to Paro
You travel to Paro after breakfast, stopping at Tamchog Lhakhang Bridge, an iron chain suspension bridge from the 13th century. On the way you'll see Paro International Airport, known as one of the world's most beautiful and challenging airports. Check into your hotel, then visit the National Museum in the Ta Dzong watchtower to see artifacts from Bhutan's culture and heritage. In the evening, stroll through Paro town and explore local handicraft shops.

Paro (Taktsang Monastery)
After breakfast, you hike up to Taktsang Monastery, known as Tiger's Nest. The walk to the viewpoint takes about 2 to 2.5 hours depending on your fitness, then you can continue another hour to reach the monastery itself. The current structure dates from 1692 and was restored after a 1998 fire. Grab refreshment at the viewpoint cafeteria, have lunch there after hiking down, and finish your day driving to Dungse monastery.

Paro to Kathmandu

Kathmandu to Chitwan
After breakfast, drive to Chitwan and check into your hotel. Later you'll visit Chitwan National Park for canoeing and watch the Tharu Cultural Program, which showcases the traditions and performances of the local Tharu people.

Chitwan
Starting after breakfast, you begin jungle activities with a Jeep Safari through Chitwan National Park. You'll visit the Crocodile Breeding Center and Elephant Breeding Center, explore a Tharu village to see local life, then watch elephants bathe. End the day watching the sunset from Rapti River.

You'll have free time to explore and shop at your own pace.
