  1. Day 1

    Delhi

    You'll land at Delhi airport and get greeted with fresh flower garlands before heading to your hotel. Check-in typically takes place between 2-3 PM, so you'll have time to settle in and freshen up. Spend the rest of the day getting oriented to India's capital, which mixes ancient monuments with bustling markets and modern development.

  2. Day 2

    New Delhi

    Start after breakfast with New Delhi's main landmarks on your agenda. The morning begins at Bangla Sahib Gurudwara for some calm before driving past India Gate and government buildings. From there you'll head to the ornate Laxmi Narayan Temple, then to Qutub Minar, the tallest brick minaret that's UNESCO-listed. Humayun's Tomb comes next, and you'll finish with a photo stop at the distinctive lotus-shaped Lotus Temple.

    Delhi to Jaipur

    Following breakfast, you're heading into Old Delhi to see Raj Ghat where Mahatma Gandhi is memorialized, the impressive Jama Masjid, and the busy Chandni Chowk market. A rickshaw ride through narrow lanes takes you through the spice market area and past the Red Fort. Later in the day you'll drive 300km to Jaipur, which takes about 6 hours, and check in at your hotel there.

    Jaipur

    After breakfast you're taking a jeep through Amber Fort, located 11km from Jaipur, exploring both Hindu and Mughal architecture and the heritage stepwell Panna-Meena ka Kund on the way back down. Once you return to the city, you'll stop at Jal Mahal water palace and check out jewelry and carpet workshops. The afternoon includes Jantar Mantar observatory, City Palace, and photos at the pink-colored Hawa Mahal, with free time later to wander local markets.

    Jaipur to Agra

    You'll drive 280km to Agra, a journey of roughly 5 hours. On the way, you stop at Chand Baori Stepwell in Abhaneri, one of India's deepest stepwells going down about 30 meters underground. After arriving in Agra you'll check in at your hotel.

  6. Day 6

    Agra

    Get up early to catch the sunrise at Taj Mahal, taking in the intricate marble inlay work and delicate carvings of this monument built by Emperor Shah Jahan for his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Back at the hotel you'll have breakfast and some time to yourself. Later you explore Agra Fort, built by Akbar in 1565, seeing Moti Masjid and Diwan-i-Khas, then Itmad-ud-daula with its elegant white marble. You'll tour marble workshops to see traditional inlay artistry before driving back to Delhi for evening check-in.

    After breakfast you're heading to the airport for your flight to Kathmandu. Once you arrive, a company representative meets you for transfer to your hotel, and you'll get to experience the atmosphere of Nepal's capital city situated in the Himalayas.

  8. Day 8

    Kathmandu

    You've got a full day after breakfast visiting three major Kathmandu sites. Start at Bhaktapur Durbar Square with its pagoda temples and the Palace of Fifty-five Windows showing off ancient Nepali architecture. Then you're at Boudhanath, one of South Asia's largest stupas and a central spot for Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal, where you can explore monasteries and Little Tibet. The day wraps up at Pashupatinath, Nepal's holiest Hindu pilgrimage site with its gold-plated roofs and wood carvings.

    Kathmandu

    After breakfast you're exploring Patan's spiritual sites starting with Patan Durbar Square, a UNESCO location with the 17th century Krishna Temple. The Tibetan Refugee Camp established in 1960 comes next, where you see carpet and handicraft industries. You'll head up to Swoyambhunath Stupa atop a 77-meter hill with valley views, one of Nepal's major Buddhist sites. Then it's Kathmandu Durbar Square where Nepal's kings were crowned, with intricate temples and a 17th-century stone inscription in 15 languages. The Kumari Temple and Kasthamandap, reportedly built from a single tree, are on your route. You'll have free time later to shop at Thamel Market.
