Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Amman
You'll be met at Amman Airport after going through customs, then it's about a 50-minute drive to your hotel. Once you check in, the rest of the day is yours to settle in and relax however you'd like.
- Day 2
Amman and Jerash
Your morning starts with a guided tour of Amman covering the Citadel hill and the Archaeological Museum, which holds the Dead Sea Scrolls collection. After that, you'll walk through the Souq and see the 2nd-century Roman Theatre. The Royal Car Museum comes next, showing King Hussein's classic car collection (note it's closed Tuesdays). In the afternoon, head out to Jerash to check out one of the best-preserved Roman cities in the Middle East, including the forum, colonnaded street, Nymphaeum, and Temple of Artemis.

Mt. Nebo, Madaba, and Little Petra
After breakfast, you'll drive to Mt. Nebo where Prophet Moses looked out at the Promised Land. Visit the old monastery and take in the views across the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, Jericho, and Jerusalem. From there, continue to Madaba to see the 6th-century mosaic map of Palestine at St. George's Church. Then it's on to Little Petra (Siq al-Barid), a Nabataean site with structures carved right into the sandstone canyon walls. Later you'll check into your Petra hotel.

Petra and Wadi Rum
This day is all about Petra, Jordan's main attraction. Your guide leads you through the Siq canyon to reach the Treasury, the most notable monument here. Continue along the Street of Facades to the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh's Castle. After exploring the site, you'll transfer to Wadi Rum Desert where dinner is waiting and you'll sleep in a private bubble tent.

Wadi Rum Safari and Dead Sea
Today you'll explore Wadi Rum by 4x4 Jeep, moving through canyons and sand dunes while seeing Nabataean rock inscriptions and getting a sense of traditional Bedouin life. Later, transfer to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth, and settle into your resort for the evening.
