Itinerary
- Day 1
Krakow to Poprad
You'll get picked up from Krakow Airport or the city centre and head to Poprad. Once you arrive, there's plenty to explore in the town square where you can browse shops, grab a bite at one of the restaurants or cafes. The Podtatranske museum and Tatra Gallery are worth checking out if you want some cultural context. If you prefer something different, the medieval district of Spiska Sobota is nearby with nicely preserved burgher houses and the Church of St George sitting right there in the centre of it all.

Bear Observation
You'll follow the blue touristic route through Kamensita dolina on a day trip focused on seeing bears in their natural setting. The hike itself runs about 14 kilometres with elevation gain staying under 550 metres, so it's manageable. Throughout the hike you'll stop at designated spots where your guide explains bear behaviour and how wildlife and people interact in this space. Later you'll head toward the avalanche chutes for bear observation with expert guidance from your seasoned guide who knows the area well.

Landmarks/POIs Kamensita dolina - Day 3
High Tatras Hike
You'll start this hike in the High Tatras at Tatranska Lomnica and work your way toward Biele and Zelene pleso. It's a moderate difficulty route covering 12.1 km with 826 metres of elevation gain and 130 metres of descent, so plan for about 7 hours total. The trail takes you from the lowest point at 845 metres up to 1,620 metres at the highest point, so you'll notice the altitude change as you go.

High Tatras to Krakow
You'll do an easy morning hike in High Tatras National Park starting from Strbske Pleso to Popradske Pleso. The route covers 10.6 km and takes roughly 4.5 hours with 260 metres of ascent and descent. After you finish the hike, you'll transfer to either Poprad or Kosice, then get driven back to Krakow Airport or Krakow city centre in the afternoon.
