  1. Day 1

    Ho Chi Minh City to My Tho

    You'll arrive in Ho Chi Minh City and get transferred to My Tho where you'll board the RV Lotus, a boutique river ship. After settling in, there's a Welcome Dinner on board while you cruise toward Cai Be. It's a relaxed first evening to get comfortable and meet your fellow travelers.

  2. Day 2

    Cai Be to Sa Dec to Tan Chau

    Morning brings a tender boat ride through Cai Be to visit the local church and workshops where they make rice paper and coconut candy. You'll have lunch back on the ship, then head by boat to Sa Dec for a guided tour through the colorful markets and the historic home of Huynh Thuy Le. After returning to the ship, you can opt for spa treatments before dinner and evening entertainment at the Saigon Lounge as you cruise to Tan Chau.

  3. Day 3

    Tan Chau to Evergreen Island to Cambodian Border

    You'll take a small boat along the tributaries around Tan Chau, then switch to a rickshaw for a tour and visit to a rattan weaving workshop. After lunch on board, a small boat takes you to Evergreen Island to see traditional Vietnamese farming and water buffalo at work. Later that day you'll relax on deck as the ship heads toward the Cambodian border, crossing overnight to reach Phnom Penh.

    Phnom Penh

    This is a more reflective day. You'll visit the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and the Killing Fields with their Memorial Stupa. After lunch on the ship, you'll explore the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda. The rest of the afternoon is flexible, so you can browse local markets for souvenirs, try local specialties like fried tarantula, or just relax on board.

    Phnom Penh to Oudong to Koh Chen

    You'll travel by road to Oudong, Cambodia's former royal capital, for a traditional Buddhist blessing ceremony with the resident monks. Then it's back to Phnom Penh with a leisurely walk through Koh Chen village known for its copperware workshops. The afternoon gives you options like cooking workshops, cyclo tours, or tuk tuk rides, or simply stay relaxed on board.

    Oknha Tey (Silk Island)

    This morning the ship heads to Oknha Tey, a place with centuries of silk-making heritage. You'll travel by tuk tuk past rice fields to see rural village life, then walk around stilt houses to watch women working traditional Khmer fabrics on wooden looms. After returning for lunch on the ship, you have free time to swim in the pool or lounge on the Sun Deck while heading toward Angkor Ban.

There are stilted houses and a Khmer-style pagoda to see. After lunch, the ship reaches Kampong Cham where you can explore Koh Pen island by tuk tuk. That evening is a Farewell Dinner on board to celebrate the journey with your fellow travelers.
