Itinerary

Day 1
Nairobi to Maasai Mara
Your driver picks you up at 8am from your Nairobi hotel for the drive out to Maasai Mara. About halfway there, you'll stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for 10 to 15 minutes so you can take in the landscape and get some photos. Lunch happens at Figtree Camp once you arrive, and after checking in you'll head straight back out for a sunset game drive from 4 to 6pm. This first evening drive gives you a chance to start looking for wildlife as the light gets better for viewing and photography.

Day 2
Maasai Mara
This is your full day dedicated to wildlife viewing across Maasai Mara. You'll be out looking for the Big Five, and the reserve tends to have high concentrations of animals here so your chances are good. Picnic lunches happen in the field as you move around, which means you're not spending time heading back to camp. You might see hippos and Nile crocodiles, along with the three big cats if you're lucky - leopard, lion, and cheetah all live in this area and sightings happen regularly during the right conditions.

Day 3
Maasai Mara to Nairobi
After breakfast early in the morning, you'll check out and make your way to the Maasai Village for a visit before heading back toward Nairobi. The drive back takes several hours, and you'll be dropped at your hotel or a city center location depending on where you prefer. There's no game drive scheduled for this final day, so it's more about wrapping up and getting back to the city.

- For any tour departing before February 4th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after February 4th, 2026, a minimum payment of 50% is required to confirm your booking with Perfect Safari Africa tours and safaris. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
