Vienna

Melk
The day starts in Durnstein, where you'll walk past rustic houses and local taverns while looking up at the hilltop castle ruins where King Richard the Lionheart was once held prisoner. Then you cruise through the Wachau Valley to Melk and tour the abbey, a working Benedictine monastery that's been operating since 1089.
