Porto's UNESCO World Heritage quarter is on your agenda today with a guided tour through the area. You'll see the Cathedral, São Bento Railway Station with its iconic blue and white tiles, and the main square. There's a port wine tasting included, and you can choose between a leisurely walking tour or an active hike through medieval streets and the old harbor quarter.

Mateus Palace & Gardens
The Baroque elegance of Mateus Palace and Gardens awaits you today. You'll tour the palace interior with its 16th- to 18th-century furnishings, distinctive paintings, and intricately carved wooden ceilings. After that, you'll walk through the magnificent gardens, considered among Portugal's most beautiful, and learn about Mateus Rose Wine.

Lamego to Pinhão
You'll venture to Lamego and can either take a city tour to see the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Remedies or hike the 686-step Holy Staircase decorated with beautiful white and blue tiles. Local tastings include Bolas de Lamego, Presunto ham, and Espumante sparkling wine. Later you'll cruise along the scenic Douro River to Pinhão for a wine tasting at a local quinta.

You'll then explore the interactive museum at Quinta da Avessada showcasing the history and culture of wine in the Alto Douro region, with wine tastings throughout.
