Itinerary
- Day 1
Luxor
Your guide meets you at Luxor Airport, the railway station, or your hotel, then transfers you to the 5-star Nile cruise. After checking in, you'll have lunch on board. From there, head to Karnak Temple, which spreads across 63 acres and includes the famous Great Hypo-style Hall. Later, visit Luxor Temple to see its obelisk and statues that blend ancient Egyptian, Christian, and Islamic design together. Return to the cruise for dinner and your first night on the water.

- Day 2
Luxor to Edfu
Starting after breakfast, travel to the West Bank and explore the Valley of the Kings where pharaohs carved tombs into the mountains. Visit the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which was restored and rebuilt by the Polish mission. Stop for photos at the Colossi of Memnon. By noon you're back at the cruise for lunch. The afternoon has you sailing down the Nile with tea on the sundeck. During the journey, the cruise crosses Esna Lock, and you overnight in Edfu.

- Day 3
Edfu to Aswan
After breakfast, take a horse carriage ride with your guide to the Temple of Horus at Edfu, the most complete and well-preserved Egyptian temple around. Return to the cruise and relax on deck watching the Nile landscape as you sail toward Kom Ombo. Lunch happens on board, and afternoon tea follows on the sundeck. Late in the day, stop at Kom Ombo to see the unique double temple dedicated to Sobek the crocodile god and Horus the falcon god. Return for dinner and a folkloric party, then continue sailing to Aswan for the night.

- Day 4
Aswan
Following breakfast, explore Aswan's highlights with your guide, learning about Nubian immigration and its cultural significance. Visit the High Dam, constructed in 1960 to protect Egypt from flooding and produce electricity, which created Lake Nasser, one of the world's biggest artificial lakes. Next, take a small motorboat to Philae Temple, a Greco-Roman temple dedicated to goddess Isis. UNESCO relocated this entire temple to prevent it from flooding after the dam was built, carefully recreating the original setting. You'll have free time to explore the temple and its surroundings before transferring to your Aswan hotel, airport, or railway station.
