Itinerary
- Day 1
Luxor
Your guide meets you at Luxor Airport, the railway station, or your hotel and transfers you to the 5-star Nile cruise for check-in. After settling in, you'll have lunch on board, then head out to see Karnak temple, which covers about 63 acres and ranks among the largest temples ever built. From there, you visit Luxor temple to see how ancient Egyptian, Christian, and Islamic architecture all came together in one structure. Back on the cruise, you'll have dinner and spend the night.

Luxor to Edfu
After breakfast, you drive to the West Bank to explore the Theban Necropolis. The Valley of the Kings shows where pharaohs carved their tombs into the mountains, and then you see the Mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari. You'll stop at the statues of Memnon to get some photos before returning to the cruise for lunch. The afternoon brings sailing down the River Nile with tea on the sundeck, passing through Esna Lock, and you'll overnight in Edfu.

Edfu to Aswan
Following breakfast, you take a horse carriage ride to the temple of Horus at Edfu, widely considered the most complete and best preserved Egyptian temple from that era. Back on the cruise, you relax on deck while sailing to Kom Ombo, then have lunch on board with afternoon tea on the sundeck. Late in the afternoon, you visit the unique double temple of Sobek and Horus at Kom Ombo. After returning for dinner and a folkloric party, the cruise continues sailing to Aswan where you stay overnight.

Aswan
The morning is free for you to do as you like, or you can pay extra to visit Abu Simbel temples. Around 3:30 pm, you take a motorboat down the Nile to Nubian Village on Soheil Island. A local family welcomes you with a drink at their house, and you get to interact with residents and walk around the village with your guide. You'll watch the sunset and do some local bird watching before heading back. You stay overnight in Aswan.

Aswan
Check out at 8 am and explore Aswan's highlights with your guide, learning about Nubian immigration history in the region. You visit the High Dam, built in 1960 to protect Egypt from floods and generate electricity. Next, you go by small motorboat to the Greco-Roman Temple dedicated to the goddess Isis. After finishing the tour, you transfer to your Aswan east bank hotel, the airport, or the railway station.
