Itinerary
- Day 1
Luxor
You'll arrive in Luxor and connect with your local guide for the drive to your hotel. The day focuses on the East Bank, starting with the Temple of Karnak, which holds the distinction of being the largest temple complex ever constructed. After that, you'll head to Luxor Temple to see the grand courtyard and the massive granite statues of Ramses the Great that stand at its entrance.

- Day 2
Luxor West Bank to Esna
There's an optional hot air balloon ride departing at 4:30 AM if you want to catch the sunrise from above Luxor's West Bank. You'll visit the Colossi of Memnon, then explore the Hatshepsut Temple with its distinctive terraced design. From there, you'll venture into the Valley of the Kings to see where ancient pharaohs were entombed. Later, you'll transfer to Esna to board your luxury Dahabiya cruise for the river portion of your trip.

- Day 3
Edfu
After breakfast on the Dahabiya, you'll head out to see the Temple of Horus in Edfu. This Ptolemaic temple is one of the best preserved examples, stretching over 140 meters and covering around 7000 square meters. The architecture really shows the skill of ancient Egyptian builders. You'll return to the cruise for the afternoon and evening to rest and relax.

- Day 4
Kom Ombo
This day takes you to the Temple of Kom Ombo, which has a unique setup because it honors both Sobek (the crocodile god) and Haroeris (Horus the Elder). The temple's symmetrical design includes two identical entrances along with matching hypostyle halls and sanctuaries. You'll explore how the ancient Egyptians used this layout to represent the connection between these two deities. Back on the Dahabiya, you'll have dinner and time to settle in for the evening.

Aswan
You'll visit the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis. The temple was relocated by UNESCO to save it from the Nile's rising waters, which makes it a significant archaeological site. Afterward, you'll return to the Dahabiya for some downtime. In the evening, you'll explore Aswan's colorful souq where local vendors sell everything from spices to handicrafts and souvenirs.

- Day 6
Abu Simbel to Airport
An early departure at 5:00 AM gets you to Abu Simbel for the rock-cut temples. King Ramesses II commissioned these architectural marvels, and Queen Nefertari's temple is also there, both showing remarkable ancient craftsmanship. Once you've finished exploring, you'll transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
