Itinerary
- Day 1
Belgrade
You'll arrive at Nikola Tesla Airport and get transferred by coach to your hotel. During the drive, you'll see New Belgrade's Socialist architecture, including the Usce Tower, Western Gate, Belgrade Arena, and Palace of Serbia. After checking in, the rest of the day is yours to settle in and get ready for what's ahead.

- Day 2
Belgrade
Start on Knez Mihailova Street with traditional Serbian coffee and rakija at Belgrade's oldest tavern. Head to Belgrade Fortress and Kalemegdan Park for views over the Sava and Danube rivers. Cross Branko's Bridge to explore New Belgrade's Brutalist architecture and the Belgrade Waterfront. You'll also see the Ada Bridge, the Dedinje district, and the Museum of Yugoslavia. Visit the Temple of Saint Sava with its intricate mosaics, then finish at Republic Square. By evening, take a scenic river cruise along both rivers.

Belgrade to Zlatibor
After checking out, head south into Oplenac to see the royal mausoleum and explore a century-old winery in the Sumadija region. You'll do a wine tasting with three different wines and learn about the Royal Karadjordjevic dynasty. Continue to Zlatibor Mountain and check in to your hotel. Stroll through the town center, then have dinner with traditional Serbian food at a local kafana, trying ajvar, kajmak, cured meats, pies, and fresh veal or fish.

- Day 4
Zlatibor to Sarajevo via Drvengrad, Visegrad
After checking out, go to Drvengrad, a unique wooden village created by filmmaker Emir Kusturica with galleries, shops, cinema, and a church. Next, board the Nostalgia heritage train on the Sargan Eight Railway, a narrow-gauge route with a figure-eight layout and mountain views. Cross into Bosnia and Herzegovina to reach Visegrad and see Andricgrad on the Drina River banks. After lunch, continue to Sarajevo and check into your hotel.

- Day 5
Sarajevo
Start at Vjecna Vatra, a WWII memorial. Have a savory burek pastry, then walk through the Ferhadija pedestrian zone to see the Sacred Heart Cathedral and a 16th-century Orthodox Church. Move into Bascarsija, the old town, to try cevapi and experience a traditional coffee ritual. You'll see City Hall, Latin Bridge, Bezistan market, Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque, and Sahat Tower, finishing with baklava. The afternoon is free to explore Sarajevo at your own pace.

- Day 6
Sarajevo to Mostar to Trebinje
You'll head out from Sarajevo toward Mostar, spending time walking across the UNESCO-listed Old Bridge and checking out the Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque along with other historic spots around the old town. There's a copper workshop where you can learn about the 500-year coppersmithing tradition that's been part of Mostar's identity, and you'll have the chance to make your own piece. After lunch by the Neretva River (free time to grab something on your own), the journey continues to Trebinje. Once there, you'll visit the Hercegovacka Gracanica Serbian Orthodox temple to see its frescoes and take in the views from above, then walk through the Arslanagica Bridge area and Poet's Square before settling in at your hotel.

Trebinje to Budva via Dubrovnik
After breakfast and check-out, start at Trebinje's local market sampling fresh cheese, dried meats, and local fruits. Head to Dubrovnik to visit Stradun, Placa Square, Pile Gate, the Rector's Palace, City Walls, and the port, including Game of Thrones filming sites. Learn about the Republic of Ragusa and the city's heritage. Later, continue to Budva to walk through the medieval Old Town, relax on the beach, and check into your hotel.

- Day 8
Budva to Kotor and back
Explore the Bay of Kotor, starting in Perast, a small baroque town. Take a boat ride to Our Lady of the Rock island to see the church with valuable paintings, silver votive tablets, and a famous votive tapestry. Head to Kotor for a guided walking tour of UNESCO sites including the churches of Saint Nicholas and Saint Luke, and the Cathedral of Saint Tryphon. You'll have free time to explore the old town or eat at a restaurant before returning to Budva for the evening.

- Day 9
Budva to Tirana
After checking out from Budva, you'll drive along the Adriatic coast to Old Bar, where stone walls and cobbled streets sit beneath Mount Rumija and you can walk through centuries-old remains. From there you'll cross into Albania for a farm-to-table lunch with local organic products and traditional dishes. Then it's on to Tirana, where you'll see Skanderbeg Square, Mussolini-era buildings, the Et'hem Bey Mosque, National Museum of History, the Clock Tower, and the Presidential Palace. The city's colorful murals are scattered throughout, so you'll come across them as you make your way around before heading to your hotel.

Begin your day in Berat, a UNESCO World Heritage site. See the arched Gorica Bridge, Byzantine Church of Saint Michael, and Red Mosque. Try traditional dishes at authentic local restaurants. Head to Durres, a coastal city, and walk through the bustling port to experience its ancient roots and modern feel. Return to Tirana and spend your evening exploring the Blloku area, known for eclectic restaurants, stylish bars, and local shops.

Check out and head toward North Macedonia. First stop is Ohrid, known as the cradle of Slavic literacy and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city has over 300 Orthodox churches and monasteries, plus clear lake waters and mountainous surroundings. Continue to Skopje and check into your hotel. You have the evening free to explore the vibrant capital, enjoy a drink along the Vardar River, and try traditional Macedonian cuisine like tavce gravce and mastika at a local restaurant.

Skopje
