Arrival in Belgrade
You'll arrive at Nikola Tesla Airport and get transferred to your hotel in Belgrade. After you check in, the rest of the day is yours to relax and get ready for what's ahead.

Belgrade
Start on Knez Mihailova Street where you'll find shops and historic buildings, then stop at Belgrade's oldest tavern for traditional Serbian coffee and rakija. From there, head to Belgrade Fortress to take in views of the Sava and Danube rivers. You'll see some striking Brutalist architecture in New Belgrade, walk through the Belgrade Waterfront, and visit the Temple of Saint Sava. The day wraps up with a river cruise at sunset where you'll see key landmarks and the city lights reflected on the water.

Belgrade to Zlatibor
Head south from Belgrade to Oplenac and tour the royal mausoleum, then visit a winery where you'll taste three local wines and learn about the Karadjordjevic dynasty's role in Serbian winemaking. Later you'll reach Zlatibor Mountain, home to Serbia's first royal resort. After checking in, take a relaxing walk through the town centre before having a traditional Serbian dinner at your hotel.

- Day 4
Zlatibor to Sarajevo via Visegrad
After leaving your hotel, you'll explore Drvengrad (Wooden Town), a unique ethno village built by filmmaker Emir Kusturica with wooden architecture, galleries, shops, and a cinema. Next comes the Sargan Eight Railway, a heritage narrow-gauge line with a distinctive figure-eight design and mountain scenery. Later you'll visit Andricgrad (Stone Town) near the UNESCO-listed Drina Bridge in Visegrad, which honors author Ivo Andric. You'll have lunch before driving to Sarajevo and checking into your hotel.

Sarajevo
Begin at Vjecna Vatra, a WWII memorial, then move through Sarajevo's cultural areas. Taste burek at a local bakery, walk the Ferhadija pedestrian zone, and see the Sacred Heart Cathedral and the 16th-century Orthodox Church. Head to Bascarsija, the historic heart, to try cevapi and experience local coffee culture. You'll visit Vjecna City Hall, Latin Bridge, Bezistan market, Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque, and Sahat Tower. Before the afternoon is free to explore on your own, you'll have baklava.

- Day 6
Sarajevo to Trebinje via Mostar
Travel to Mostar and take a guided walk to Stari Most, the UNESCO-protected Old Bridge. You'll see the Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque, Crooked Bridge, and the historic tanner's quarter. In the Old Town, a master coppersmith will show you centuries-old copper techniques, and you can try making jewelry or copper reliefs yourself. After free time for lunch with Neretva River views, continue to Trebinje. There you'll visit Hercegovacka Gracanica Serbian Orthodox temple with frescoes, the 400-year-old Arslanagica Bridge, and Poet's Square before checking in for the night.

- Day 7
Trebinje to Dubrovnik via Kotor
Check out and visit Trebinje's local market to sample fresh cheese, dried meats, and fruits. Then head into Montenegro, stopping at charming Perast where you can visit the island of Our Lady of the Rocks and its church with valuable paintings. Continue to ancient Kotor, a UNESCO site, and explore churches of Saint Nicholas and Saint Luke, plus the Cathedral of Saint Tryphon. Wander the old paved streets with time for lunch. By evening you'll reach Dubrovnik, the UNESCO-protected walled city, and check in to your hotel.

Dubrovnik
Explore Dubrovnik's main attractions including Stradun street, Placa Square, Pile Gate, and the Rector's Palace. Walk around the city port and find hidden corners. You'll hear stories about the Republic of Ragusa and how filming locations connected to popular shows. After the city tour, you'll have free time for lunch at a restaurant on the city walls. Optional activities include taking a cable car up Srd Hill for panoramic views, walking the 2 km City Walls, or in the evening, sailing on a sunset cruise on the Karaka, a replica 16th-century wooden ship.

- Day 9
Dubrovnik to Split
Drive along the Dalmatian coast taking in views of Croatian islands, vineyards, olive groves, and stone villages. Make a stop in Ston to try its famous oysters and photograph the Ston Walls. Visit a local winery on the Pelejsac Peninsula to taste Plavac Mali, the region's signature red wine. Arrive in Split, Dalmatia's largest city, and enter through the Golden Gate. Walk narrow cobblestone streets past markets, cafes, and courtyards. See the former Temple of Jupiter and Cathedral of Saint Domnius, the oldest Catholic cathedral still in its original form. Stroll the lively Riva promenade before checking in.

Split to Hvar and Return
Drive to the ferry port and board a high-speed catamaran to Hvar, traveling through Splitska Vrata to this Venetian-styled island. During a walking tour, you'll see the harbour, Renaissance Cathedral, Benedictine Convent, Franciscan monastery, and Church of Our Lady of Mercy. Plenty of free time lets you explore or relax on beaches. Optional activities include a boat trip to the Pakleni Islands, hiking trails to Milna Bay, or having Mediterranean lunch at a local spot. You'll return to Split in the late afternoon.

Split to Zagreb via Plitvice Lakes National Park
Leave your hotel and head inland through charming villages and rolling hills toward Plitvice Lakes National Park, a mountainous area with 16 connected cascading lakes. You'll take a 3-hour guided tour of both upper and lower lakes. Swimming isn't allowed, but you can relax at nearby restaurants surrounded by nature. After that, continue to Zagreb, Croatia's vibrant capital. Check in and spend the evening exploring on your own with dinner at a place of your choice.

- Day 12
Zagreb
Check out of your hotel and take a Zagreb sightseeing tour hitting the city's main attractions. Visit Kaptol, the medieval section, and the Franciscan monastery with its 13th-century Church of Saint Francis. Walk through Dolac, Zagreb's well-known farmers' market, and see the baroque Church of Saint Mary from the 18th century. The tour ends at Ban Josip Jelacic's monument in the square bearing his name, concluding your Balkan tour.
