  1. Day 1

    Reykjavik

You'll arrive in Iceland and get a transfer to Reykjavik where the rest of the day is yours to spend however you like. The city center has several things worth checking out on your own - Hallgrimskirkja Church with its distinctive architecture, the Perlan Glass Dome offering views over the city, the Sun Voyager sculpture down by the water, and the harbor area itself which has shops and restaurants. Getting oriented today means you can plan the rest of your trip without rushing.

You'll head out to Snaefellsnes to see some really varied landscapes all in one place. There are ancient lava tube caves to walk through, black pebble beaches where tall cliffs rise up behind them, and Kirkjufell mountain which photographers tend to love. If you're traveling during winter months, the evening brings a chance to search for Northern Lights, though it depends on weather and how clear the sky is that night.

    Included Activities

  3. Day 3

    Hraunfossar - Reykholt

Starting with views of Mount Kirkjufell, you'll then drive to Hraunfossar waterfall where lunch happens with the water as your backdrop. From there you'll learn about the Icelandic poet Snorri Sturluson in the small village of Reykholt. After that, you have options - soak in Krauma geothermal baths if that appeals to you, spend time at Sturlureykir horse farm, or visit Deildartunguhver which is Europe's most powerful hot spring. It's flexible depending on what interests you most.

Later you'll see Gullfoss waterfall which drops 105 feet, then experience Strokkur hot spring shooting steam jets up into the air every few minutes. Before wrapping up, you'll head south to Seljalandsfoss waterfall and finish at Reynisfjara's famous black sand beach. The main event is exploring a natural ice cave inside Vatnajokull, Europe's largest glacier. The tour includes all necessary equipment and safety instruction so you'll be fully prepared.
