Customer Reviews
- Alice· June 3rd, 2025Guide service level - Our 6day, 7th day and 8th day tour guide deserved 5 stars especially Thor given his long hours of driving around the island. Their driving skills was good, kept us informed of stories on the site and break time. Accommodation - comfortable and clean .. overall okay at Hofn, I was allocated a room where the window is in maintenance mode and the other window is very close to the car park. I was too tired to feedback for the change . at Hótel Laugarbakki, the hotelier was able to solve problem by providing a fan as the room's air circulation was poor At Borgarnes, the room has lacked of air circulation but there is no extra room to swap and no alternative but to live with it. the room was facing a car park. same situation lack of privacy when the window is opened. Luggage handling- on 7th and 8th day tours, our guides had to squeeze our bags in the limited space within the vehicle without breaking their backs. The company could have arranged additional tow capacity.Show more
- Charles· June 2nd, 2025Our guide (Carl) was wonderful. Personable, engaging, entertaining, solicitous - genuinely connecting with his group as individuals. Carl merits 5 stars. We expected the accommodations to be rustic, and they were, a bit more than expected. Space in rooms was sparse and clumsily arranged - one bathroom had the toilet paper dispenser so badly placed it made sitting on the toilet awkward. As 4 of 5 hotels we used were owned by Arctic Adventures, so they should be more aware of the comfort of the hotels.) I’d give 2 stars at best to the accommodations. The trip was well planed and the sites memorable - 4 1/2 stars.Show more
- Bryan· June 1st, 2025Great tour of the sights, particularly the Golden Circle southern region of Iceland. Guide very knowlegeable and capable.Show more

Traveler•Written February 2025We can travel in August or September, 2025, depending on tour availability and cost.
- Arctic AdventuresOperator•Written February 2025
Airport pickup and drop-off are not included in the trip package. However, we recommend using the Flybus service, which offers a convenient transfer from Keflavík International Airport (KEF) to the BSÍ Bus Terminal in Reykjavik.
