Itinerary
- Day 1
Hotel to Sahara Desert
Your driver picks you up at 7 am from your hotel and takes you through the Middle Atlas Mountains. You'll stop in Ifrane and Azrou to see the landscape and get a feel for the region. From there, the drive continues toward the Sahara Desert, and by afternoon you'll reach the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. Once you arrive at your desert camp, you can settle in and have some sweet mint tea while watching the dunes. The whole journey gives you a real sense of how the landscape transforms from mountains to desert.

- Day 2
Merzouga
After breakfast, you have options for how to spend your time. Take a walk through the rhaps if you want to explore on foot, or go for a swim in the hotel pool to cool off. There's also a shopping trip available to Merzouga and Khamlia village where you can catch Gnawa music performances. Later in the day as the light starts to change, a 90-minute camel trek takes you into the Sahara. You'll end up at a traditional Berber encampment where you'll stay the night, have an authentic Moroccan dinner, and listen to Berber music under the stars.

Sahara to Todra Gorge
After breakfast, you'll drive to Rissani, an important Sahara Desert town and the first capital of the Alaouite dynasty. Next, head to Erfoud, which is known for its fossils. You can visit workshops there where you'll watch fossils being cleaned and prepared, and there's room to bargain if you're interested. From Erfoud, travel through the Todgha Gorges near Tinghir. These gorges are the tallest and narrowest in Morocco, and there are easy hiking trails if you want to walk around. You'll have dinner and spend the night in the Todra Gorge area.

Todra Gorge to Fes
Start with breakfast, then take a hike in Todra Gorge to explore the area on foot. After that, you'll drive back to Fes, traveling through the Middle Atlas Mountains on your way. The drive back gives you another chance to see the mountain scenery before you return to the city.
