Casablanca to Rabat to Chefchaouen
Your Morocco adventure starts when you arrive in Casablanca and meet your representative. From there, you'll head to Rabat to see Hassan Tower, the incomplete 12th-century minaret, and the Mohammed V Mausoleum. After that, you continue on to Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains. Once you get there, you'll have time to wander the Blue City's winding lanes and check out the markets at your own pace. It's a solid introduction to what's coming.

Chefchaouen
This morning you'll explore Chefchaouen with a local guide who can show you around properly. You'll visit the Museum of the Kasbah, which was built back in 1471, and climb up to its rooftop where you get panoramic views of the entire Blue City. From there, you'll head to Plaza Uta el-Hammam and see the 15th-century Grand Mosque. Your guide takes you through hidden corners and cultural spots so you actually understand what makes this town special and unique.

Chefchaouen to Fes
You'll travel south from Chefchaouen and stop to check out the well-preserved Roman ruins of Volubilis. Then it's on to Meknes where you'll see the grand Bab al-Mansour gate and walk through the calmer medina. Later, you continue to Fes and view the medieval city from the Merenid Tombs right around dusk. After settling into your traditional riad, you'll have dinner there as the evening comes on.

Fes
A professional guide leads you through Fes's medieval Medina, which is one of the world's largest car-free areas. You'll visit Medersa Bou Inania, the city's most detailed building that's been recently restored, and tour the famous tanneries with their signature dye pits. You'll also see traditional potters working. For meals, you'll try Moroccan specialties including Harira soup and chicken-stuffed pastille served with couscous.

Fes to Merzouga
You're heading south early toward Merzouga. Along the way, you'll pass through cedar forests in the Middle Atlas Mountains and spot Barbary macaque monkeys. Around lunchtime you'll stop in Midelt by the Moulouya River. Then you continue through Tizi n'Talremt into the Ziz Valley with its hidden oases. By evening you reach Erfoud and head into the vast Erg Chebbi dunes where you'll take a camel ride to a pre-prepared desert camp. You climb a sand dune for sunset and finish with a campfire dinner.

Merzouga to Ait Ben Haddou
Early morning starts with sunrise in Merzouga, followed by sandboarding and exploring the Saharan village of Khemliya. You pass through Rissani's dramatic gate, well-known for its livestock auction. Later, you go through Tinghir and Todra Gorge, then travel through the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs. By afternoon you arrive at Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and film location. You join a studio tour to see how this ancient mud-brick settlement appeared in Gladiator and Game of Thrones.

Ait Ben Haddou to Marrakech
You head for Marrakech through the southern desert, going up through the High Atlas Mountains and passing Ait Benhaddou. From the Tizi n'Tichka Pass you get great panoramic views, and you'll notice the climate shifts as you descend into Marrakech. After checking into your hotel, you'll explore the bustling Jemaa el-Fna square and the vibrant medina. You can relax at a café or grab an evening meal to end the day.

Following breakfast, you'll meet with a local guide for a tour of Marrakech's old medina. Back at Jemaa el-Fna square, you'll spend the afternoon walking through medina streets and shopping in the bustling bazaars.
