This 7-day offroad motorbike tour was hands-down the best way to explore the rugged north of Vietnam. Every stop—from the stilt houses in Mai Chau to the terraced fields of Mu Cang Chai and the serenity of Ba Be Lake—felt special and thoughtfully chosen. The offroad sections were fun and a bit challenging, but nothing our group couldn’t handle. The bikes were in great condition, and the guide was skilled, friendly, and deeply knowledgeable about the regions we passed through.
