Itinerary
- Day 1
Istanbul to Izmir to Ephesus to Istanbul
Pick you up from your Istanbul hotel early morning and take you to the airport for your domestic flight to Izmir. Once you land, your guide meets you and you'll head straight to the Virgin Mary House, a significant religious site that's believed to be where the Virgin Mary spent her final years. After that, you drive to Ephesus to walk through the ancient ruins, which include the Celsus Library, Temple of Hadrian, the Theater, and the Basilica of Saint John the Apostle. You'll also see the Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. There's time for lunch at a local restaurant and then you can browse through Turkish handicrafts before heading back to catch your return flight to Istanbul. Your guide arranges the evening transfer back to your hotel.
