Itinerary
- Day 1
Riad to Merzouga Desert
You'll start early with a pickup from your Riad and head out toward Merzouga Desert. The drive takes you through Ifrane first, where you can walk around the cedar forest and spot Barbary apes in their natural setting. After that, you'll pass through Midelt and stop for lunch before continuing south through the Ziz Valley and its oases. By late afternoon, you'll reach Erfoud and then move on to Erg Chebbi dunes where a camel ride takes you to your desert camp. Once settled, the evening brings traditional music and a campfire where you can sit back and take in the atmosphere.

- Day 2
Merzouga Desert Exploration
Starting from your desert camp, you'll explore the Erg Chebbi dunes and surrounding Merzouga Desert landscape. A visit to a Nomad's tent comes next, giving you traditional tea and real insight into how people live out here. From there, you'll check out the historic coal mines in Mfis village and head to Khamlia village for a live Gnaoua music show, which is followed by lunch at a local Berber Pizza restaurant. In the afternoon, you visit a seasonal lake in the desert (great for spotting desert birds), then return to your hotel at the dune lines by evening.

- Day 3
Merzouga Desert to Marrakech
After breakfast, you'll leave the desert camp by 4x4 across the Erg Chebbi dunes. Rissani Local Market is your first stop to explore Berber culture and see traditional trading in action. Next comes N'Kob, a small village with 44 authentic Kasbahs surrounded by a palm grove oasis, which you'll reach by traveling through the Hamada mountains and Deraa Valley. Lunch happens in Agdez, then you cross the Ait Saouen mountain pass to reach Ouarzazate (known as 'Hollywood of Morocco'). The day ends with a drive through the High Atlas Mountains before dropping off at your Marrakech accommodation.
