Itinerary
- Day 1
Guatemala City to Flores
Your hotel pickup happens early, around 5:45 AM, to get you to the airport in Guatemala City for your flight to Flores. Once you land, you'll have a typical local breakfast before heading out with a private guide to explore Tikal. The ruins are spread across a UNESCO-recognized natural park, so there's plenty of opportunity to see wildlife while you're walking through the ancient Maya structures. After spending the afternoon there, you'll head back to Flores for the night.

Flores
The morning is yours to do what you want in Flores. You can walk around the colorful town, grab coffee at one of the lakeside restaurants, or take an optional boat ride around the island if that interests you. Shopping is another option if you're looking for souvenirs. Whenever you're ready, you'll transfer to Mundo Maya Airport for your return flight back to Guatemala City.
