- Day 1
Airport/Hotel to Aberdare National Park
Your safari kicks off with a pickup from the airport or hotel, then you'll drive through the central Kenya highlands toward Aberdare National Park. Along the route, you'll pass tea and coffee plantations and stop at Karatina, which is East Africa's largest open-air market. Once you reach the park, you can start getting a feel for the landscape and wildlife that's waiting for exploration.

- Day 2
Aberdare to Samburu Game Reserve
After breakfast, you'll head north to Samburu Game Reserve in Kenya's Northern Circuit. The drive gets you there in time for lunch, and then an afternoon game drive begins your exploration. This park holds African elephants, zebras, Masai giraffes, and plenty of other wildlife you'll have chances to spot.

- Day 3
Samburu Game Reserve
You've got the full day to explore Samburu at a relaxed pace. Since it's less crowded than many reserves, you'll have better opportunities to see the big five along with rare species like Gerenuk and Reticulated Giraffe. The park also has over 450 bird species, and the Waso Nyiro River runs through it, bringing in wildlife throughout the day.

Samburu to Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, you'll travel south and cross the equator on your way to Lake Nakuru. The lake is known for its massive flamingo populations, sometimes hosting close to 2 million birds that create pink bands along the shore. You'll arrive in time for lunch, then head out on an afternoon game drive to see the rhinos and other wildlife the lake attracts.

- Day 5
Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara National Reserve
An early morning drive takes you to Maasai Mara National Reserve, which sits at the northern edge of the Serengeti ecosystem. Wildlife here lives in numbers you rarely see elsewhere in Africa. Depending on the season, you might catch the migration of thousands of wildebeest and zebras. Lunch happens when you arrive, followed by an afternoon game drive.

- Day 6
Maasai Mara National Reserve
You'll spend the full day in Maasai Mara with a packed lunch provided during the day. The reserve is known for its black-maned lions, and you have a real chance of spotting all five of the big cats during a single morning drive. Cheetahs here are quite relaxed around vehicles, often resting in their shade. If you're into birds, nearly 500 species live here including eagles, hawks, vultures, storks, and bustards.

Maasai Mara to Nairobi
Start early with one final game drive through Maasai Mara to catch the African bush at dawn. After that, you'll head back to Nairobi, departing late morning and arriving around 5 pm. Lunch happens somewhere along the way to break up the drive and give you time to rest before the day winds down.
