    Your journey begins with arrival in Baku and a transfer to your hotel. After checking in, you'll have the rest of the day free, so take time to walk around the city at your own pace and get oriented to your surroundings.

  2. Day 2

    Baku

    This morning starts with a tour of Baku's main attractions. You'll head into the Old City to see the historic tower and palace, then move on to the Haydar Aliyev Center and Carpet Museum. Later, Highland Park gives you panoramic views across the city, and you'll finish with a scenic boat ride at Little Venice before returning to rest at your hotel.

    Baku

    You'll head out early to Qobustan National Park to check out the museum and see the ancient petroglyphic rock art covering the rock faces. The mud volcanoes here are quite unusual and worth walking around. After grabbing lunch with local food, you'll continue to Ateshgah Fire Temple and then to Yanardagh Fire Mountain before heading back to your hotel.

    Transfer from Baku toward Sheki today, and there are several stops along the way. You'll visit the Juma Mosque, then move through the charming Lahic village and see Nohurgol Lake. Seven Beauty Waterfall is next, and after viewing that natural site, you'll arrive in Sheki for hotel check-in.

    Your focus today is Sheki's cultural side. Start at the Upper Caravanserai and the Palace of Sheki Khans, which has some beautiful architecture worth spending time with. Then you'll head to the Albanian Church at Kish village, grab lunch at a local spot, and browse through traditional Sheki sweets before returning to your hotel.

Shah Abbas Mosque and the former Parliament Building are also on the route. From there, you'll head toward the Azerbaijan-Georgia border, cross over, and arrive in Tbilisi for hotel check-in.

The Chronicles of Georgia monument is worth a look, and then head to Holy Trinity Cathedral. Later in the afternoon, Mtatsminda Park offers good panoramic views of the city before you head back to your hotel.
