Itinerary
- Day 1
Maun
You'll get picked up from your Maun hotel around 07:30h for a 45-minute to 1-hour drive to a local village in the Okavango Delta. Once there, you'll meet your guide and poler who'll take you out on a mokoro through the delta's channels. The boat moves slowly through the waterways, which gives you a real chance to spot wildlife going about their day. Mid-morning you'll pull up at an island where lunch is waiting for you, and then your guide takes you on a nature walk to check out the area on foot. After that, it's back into the mokoro for the return journey to Maun, and you'll be back by mid-afternoon around 15:30h.
