Masai Mara Wedding Experience
Your hotel pickup happens at 4:00 a.m., so set your alarm early. You'll head out for a one-hour hot air balloon flight right at sunrise, floating over the African savannah to take in the landscape from above. Once you land, there's a buffet breakfast set up in the middle of the savannah where you can relax and refuel. After breakfast, an off-road vehicle takes you to the Mara River for your wedding ceremony. A Maasai tribe elder leads the traditional ritual, blessing your marriage with milk or beer and placing herbs on the bride's shoes as a fertility tradition. You'll have champagne and wedding cake to celebrate, and a professional photographer documents the whole day. Everything wraps up by around 4:00 p.m. when you head back to your hotel.
