Itinerary
- Day 1
New York to Nairobi
Your flight departs New York JFK on Kenya Airways at 13:45, touching down in Nairobi at 11:15 the following morning. After checking into your hotel and grabbing lunch, you'll head to the Giraffe Centre where you can hand-feed the giraffes up close. The afternoon takes you through local markets to browse African crafts and beadwork, then dinner features game meat at Carnivore restaurant before heading back to rest.

Breakfast starts at 07:00 before your transfer to Samburu National Reserve. You'll arrive in time for lunch and to settle into your accommodation. After resting a bit, your safari driver picks you up at 16:00 for an afternoon game drive, showing you the landscape and wildlife before returning to camp for dinner.

Samburu
After breakfast at 07:00, you'll spend the entire day exploring Samburu National Reserve with your safari guide. Picnic lunch boxes get packed for you, and you'll drive through the reserve looking for animals and birds throughout the day before heading back to camp.

Samburu to Ol Pejeta
Breakfast at 07:00, then you depart for Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Lunch and check-in happen upon arrival. Later, your driver takes you out at 15:00 for an afternoon game drive that includes visits to the Chimpanzee sanctuary and Morani sanctuary before returning to camp for dinner.

Ol Pejeta to Lake Nakuru
After eating breakfast at 07:00, you'll travel to Lake Nakuru National Park. Lunch and check-in wait for you when you arrive. Once you've rested a bit after lunch, your safari guide comes by at 16:00 to take you out for an afternoon drive before dinner back at the lodge.

Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara

Maasai Mara
After breakfast at 07:00, you have options for exploring Maasai Mara. You can do a full day game drive with your guide, or choose a hot air balloon safari that floats over the reserve. Either way, you'll have a picnic lunch during your adventure and return to camp for dinner.

Maasai Mara to Nairobi
Following breakfast, you'll do a game drive as you depart Maasai Mara heading back to Nairobi. Lunch and shopping stops break up the drive. Once in Nairobi, you'll check into your city hotel briefly to freshen up, then at 18:00 you'll head to the airport for your return flight to New York. If you're interested, you can also arrange an extension safari to Tanzania, Zanzibar, Rwanda, Uganda, or the beaches of Watamu and Diani instead.
