So much of a tour is who your guide is. Luckily, we had Ken and the tour was fabulous. We would not have changed a thing for our first time to Japan. We felt like we got a good cross-section of activities and pacing. And our peer travelers were awesome also. And the hotels and food were perfect! Highly reccomend!

I was wondering if while in Madurai on March 14th of 2025 we would have an opportunity to experience some form of the Holi festival.

The chances of experiencing the Holi festival in Madurai are quite low, as it is not traditionally celebrated in that region of India. Holi is more commonly observed in northern parts of India. However, Madurai does have its own unique festivals and cultural events throughout the year that you can explore and enjoy during your visit.
