- Day 1
Rio de Janeiro
After you land at Rio de Janeiro's international airport, a representative will meet you and drive you to your hotel in Copacabana. During the transfer, you'll catch sight of Christ the Redeemer and Sugar Loaf Mountain towering over the landscape. Once you reach your hotel, the rest of the day is open for you to settle in and walk around the neighborhood at whatever pace feels right.

- Day 2
Sugar Loaf Mountain & Christ the Redeemer
You'll head out after breakfast to see two of Rio's most famous spots. Start by taking the cable car up Sugar Loaf Mountain in two stages, stopping first at Mount Urca before continuing to the peak, where you get wide views of the beaches and the rainforest-covered mountains. Then it's a minivan ride through the Corcovado Mountains along the Paineiras Route to reach the Christ the Redeemer statue. You'll have time to take photos and soak in the city views from up there. After that, you'll head back to the hotel with your afternoon free to relax.

Rio de Janeiro
This day is entirely yours to do what you want. You could spend it lounging on one of Rio's beaches or, if you're there during carnival season, dive into the energy of the carnival blocks happening around the city. The choice is yours.

- Day 4
Rio de Janeiro Historic Center & Santa Teresa
Your morning is free to take it easy. In the afternoon, a guide will take you on a 4-hour tour through Rio's historic center, visiting Praça XV, the Arcos dos Teles, and Cinelandia, where you can stop at Colombo's bakery if you like. From there, you'll walk through Santa Teresa, a neighborhood with early 20th-century mansions, the historic tram that's been running since 1897, and plenty of local artists. After the tour ends, you'll get a ride back to your hotel and have the rest of the afternoon to yourself.

Samba School Parade
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll take the day to rest and get ready for the evening. That night, you'll head to the Sambadrome to watch the samba parade, where six of Rio's top samba schools perform with hundreds of dancers in elaborate costumes, all dancing to music and routines they've been planning for months. There are three different transportation options you can choose from at various times, so you can pick whatever works best for you.

- Day 6
Tijuca Rainforest, Botanical Garden & Viewpoints
After a relaxed morning and lunch, you'll explore the Tijuca rainforest. You'll stop at the Chinese viewpoint to see Copacabana, Ipanema, Guanabara Bay, and Sugar Loaf Mountain spread out below. If you're lucky, you might see monkeys, sloths, or tropical birds. You'll also visit the Taunay waterfall and the Mayrink Chapel before finishing at the Rio Botanical Garden, which covers about 140 hectares and holds roughly 6,500 different plant species, including 128 historic palms along the main path, greenhouses, orchid collections, rose gardens, and a lake with the Victoria Regia water lily.
