Itinerary
- Day 1
Malaga
You'll arrive in Malaga and head to the yacht marina where your cabin's waiting. After settling in, you'll meet the skipper and other travelers on the trip. There's a safety briefing and orientation to go through so you know your way around the yacht. Later that evening, dinner happens on board before you head to bed for your first night at sea.

Malaga to Morocco
Today you're sailing across open water toward Morocco on a classic sports yacht. The crossing takes roughly 10 to 14 hours, so you'll spend most of the day on the water. Dinner comes late once you're settled, and then it's another night sleeping aboard.

Chefchaouen
After breakfast, a taxi takes you to Chefchaouen, the Blue City nestled in the Rif Mountains. You'll meet your hiking guide Mohammed and Landrover driver Najib, then visit a local family for tea and cake. From there, wandering through the medina's winding alleyways with a city guide comes next. You'll check out Ras el Ma where the water flows and the Kasbah fortress, finishing with dinner at a Berber restaurant and an evening walk through the old town.

Haouta Taznout Plateau
The Landrover drives you over a mountain pass into the Rif hinterland, taking about 2 hours. Then your hiking starts, lasting 3 to 4 hours across a plateau through high valleys with pine trees. You'll trek past a mountain village and hemp fields until reaching a clearing with a small stream where the Landrover meets you. Camp gets set up on the Haouta Taznout plateau edge in a meadow, with a campfire and stars overhead while Mohammed cooks tajine.

Landmarks Haouta Taznout Plateau - Day 5
Beni Bouhlou
Breakfast here means bread, olive oil, olives, honey, and sheep's cheese with coffee and mint tea. Your hike covers around 6 hours across Rif highlands through wide hemp fields with views of wild mountains and occasional glimpses of the Mediterranean. By evening you reach Beni Bouhlou, Mohammed's home village. You'll stay as a guest in his family house and eat typical local food with them.

Landmarks Beni Bouhlou - Day 6
Beni Bouhlou to Kannar River
The Landrover takes you to the trailhead for today's trek. You hike for 6 hours through wide valleys and over a mountain pass until reaching the Kannar River, which eventually flows to the Mediterranean. After this long day of trekking, you arrive at a typical local gite where Mohammed has dinner prepared for the group.

Landmarks Kannar River - Day 7
Kannar River to Tetouan
Hiking continues along the Kannar River toward the Mediterranean, and you'll often wade through the riverbed with wet feet. The valley slopes show hemp cultivation and chances to chat with local farmers. If you need to, you can ask for an earlier pickup by Landrover at accessible spots. After refreshing in the river and changing clothes, you drive the rest of the way to the sea. An afternoon snack in town follows, then a cab takes you to Tetouan, the royal city. You'll explore the medina, a World Heritage Site, and the souk, then dinner happens at El Reducto riad before heading back to your sailing yacht.

You sail across the Strait of Gibraltar to this famous crown colony. The day involves visiting the old town and checking out the Casemattes Centre. Tonight you're sleeping on board your yacht.

Gibraltar to Malaga
A hike takes you to Monkey Rock where you get fantastic views of two continents and oceans. From there, sailing across the Costa del Sol back to Malaga happens, with arrival late in the evening. Dinner is late on board, and this is your final night aboard the yacht.
