- Day 1
Hanoi
You'll land at Noi Bai Airport and head to your hotel in central Hanoi. That afternoon, join a food tour through the Old Quarter where you'll taste local specialties and learn about Hanoi's food culture and traditions. Stay overnight in the city.

After breakfast, a jeep tour takes you through Hanoi's contrasting neighborhoods, from the Old Quarter to the French Quarter. It's a real look at the city rather than just tourist spots.

Hanoi to Ninh Binh
Following breakfast, you travel to Ninh Binh (about 2 hours south), Vietnam's first capital in the 10th century. You'll see King Dinh Temple and King Le Temple at Hoa Lu, then have lunch locally. In the afternoon, a boat ride takes you through Trang An Grottoes with its 31 valleys and 50 limestone caves. By evening you're back in Hanoi.

Hanoi to Halong Bay
You drive 3 hours from Hanoi to Halong Bay, a UNESCO site known for thousands of islands and caves with stalactites and stalagmites. Once aboard your cruise, lunch happens while you're sailing. The afternoon gives you options like kayaking, swimming, or exploring caves depending on your cruise schedule. You'll sleep on the boat.

Halong Bay to Hoi An
Start with coffee or tea on deck while watching the bay, then have breakfast. You'll explore more of Halong Bay after eating. Brunch comes as you sail back to port. After that, you transfer to Da Nang and fly there, then head to your hotel in Hoi An for the night.

Hoi An
After breakfast, you walk through Hoi An's ancient town checking out merchant homes, the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, Phuc Kien Pagoda, and the colorful riverside market. Later you visit Thanh Ha Pottery Village to see ceramics-making. Then it's on to Marble Mountain's limestone caves and shrines, Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village, Linh Ung Pagoda (Da Nang's largest), and finish with the Museum of Cham Sculpture. Stay in Hoi An.

Return to your hotel afterward.

Ho Chi Minh City
Following breakfast, you drive about 1.5 hours to Cu Chi Tunnel and explore the underground network from the Vietnam War, seeing secret entrances, various traps, and a B-52 bomb crater. Lunch happens at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you visit the War Remnants Museum with its wartime photography, then see French colonial sites like Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, and Central Post Office before heading back to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.
