- Day 1
Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha
You'll arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport where your safari guide meets you for the drive to Arusha. On clear days, you might see Mount Kilimanjaro during the journey. Depending on when you land, your guide could take you around Arusha town to see the Central market, Maasai market, and the National Natural History Museum, giving you a feel for local culture and heritage sites. The day wraps up with dinner and your first night's accommodation in Arusha.

Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After leaving Arusha, you'll drive about 2 hours to Tarangire National Park, passing through local villages and Maasai herds along the way. Once there, your game drive starts right away as you search for Tarangire's famous elephant herds, plus zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, lions, and cheetahs. Lunch happens at a picnic site inside the park. You'll continue exploring in the afternoon before heading back to the lodge for dinner and the night.

Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
You'll head toward Serengeti National Park after breakfast, stopping at a Maasai village where locals greet you with traditional singing and dancing. There you'll see fire-making and bead work before continuing on. During the drive and once you reach Serengeti, game drives let you look for lions, leopards, black rhinos, elephants, zebras, gazelles, wildebeests, and African cape buffalo. You'll drive through the late afternoon, then settle in at your lodge for dinner and overnight rest.

Starting after breakfast, you'll spend the full day on a game drive through Serengeti with picnic lunches along the way. The park's vast herds of wildebeests move alongside zebras, elands, and gazelles while you keep watch for leopards, hyenas, and Nile crocodiles. The endless landscape gives you time to take in the scale of the ecosystem and wildlife. By evening you're back at the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, you'll head to Ngorongoro Crater to see morning mist rolling across the crater rim and steep walls that frame a preserved landscape below. The crater floor holds lions, hyenas, elephants, black rhinos, flamingos, golden jackals, forests, hippo-filled lakes, salt pans, and hyena dens. You'll have lunch at a picnic area inside the park with crater views surrounding you. Then you drive to your lodge for dinner and the night.

If you want, there's an option to book a walking safari with a park ranger for a closer look at animals (additional cost applies). After your afternoon game drive, you'll head to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure.
