Mumbai
Your hotel pickup happens this morning for a full day exploring Mumbai. You'll start at the Gateway of India, then visit the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya before driving past colonial buildings like Victoria Terminus and Mumbai University. After that, you'll check out the Gandhi Memorial Museum and walk through Dhobi Ghat, the open-air laundry where clothes are washed by hand. Later you'll drive across the Bandra-Worli Sea Link and finish at Marine Drive for some quiet time by the water.

Mumbai to Bhopal
You'll transfer to Mumbai Airport for your flight to Bhopal. Once you land, another transfer takes you to your lodge hotel right next to Satpura National Park. The afternoon and evening are yours to relax, perhaps use the eco-friendly pool or sit with views overlooking the Denwa River.

Satpura National Park
This day focuses on Satpura National Park with two jeep safaris through the rugged landscape of deep valleys, sandstone peaks, gorges, and thick forests. Early morning and evening drives work best since it's cooler and animals are more active then. If you're interested, you can also try a walking safari with a naturalist, something only offered here in this park.

Satpura to Pench National Park
You'll spend about 6 hours traveling by vehicle to Pench National Park, named after the River Pench running through it. Once you arrive, you'll settle into your accommodation for the evening.

You'll drive about 4 hours to Kanha National Park, famous for its Royal Bengal Tigers and one of the first parks created under Project Tiger. The park covers 940 square kilometers of rolling meadows and thick sal forests, and it's considered one of the best managed parks across Asia.

Two jeep safaris make up your park time today, one in the early morning and one in the afternoon. Open 4-wheel vehicles hold around 6 people each, including a naturalist and driver. The large grassy areas are home to deer and antelopes. Between safaris, you can explore tribal markets on foot or by cycle, go on nature treks, watch birds, take cycling trips, or join optional workshops with local potters and painters.

Kanha to Bandhavgarh National Park
After breakfast, you'll drive roughly 6 hours to Bandhavgarh National Park, known for having the highest tiger density in India and some of the best chances to spot them. This afternoon you'll head out on an open jeep safari. If you're visiting March through June and can handle the heat, those dry months offer particularly good tiger viewing.

Bandhavgarh National Park
You'll explore 448 square kilometers of the park with an early morning safari around 6am to 10am and a late afternoon safari from 3pm to 6pm. Sal and sali trees cover most of the park, with grasslands spread across 32 hills. The area has over 22 mammal species, 250 bird species, and 70 butterfly types. Between safaris, try photographic trails, cycle through the park, visit the butterfly farm, learn about village community programs, swim at the lodge pool, or book a spa massage.
