- Day 1
Lake Manyara National Park
The hotel pickup happens at 8 am, and you'll spend the full day on a game drive through Lake Manyara National Park. The landscape here features thick acacia forests mixed with giant figs and mahogany trees, creating ideal habitat for giraffes, elephants, impalas, buffaloes, and hippos. The drive along the lake gives you good photo opportunities with wildlife and water in the same frame. You'll head back to camp for dinner.

Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park
After early breakfast, the drive to Serengeti National Park begins, and it's a long journey but the scenery makes it worthwhile. As you enter those endless plains, the landscape just opens up around you. This park spans 6,900 square miles and hosts the Great Migration with roughly 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and other wildlife like lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas. You'll settle into your lodge in Central Serengeti by evening.

Landmarks/POIs Serengeti National Park - Day 3
Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
Starting very early, you'll head out for a morning game drive to catch animals when they're most active, plus one of the better sunrises you'll see. Back at camp for brunch, then the drive continues to Ngorongoro Crater. The crater spans 102 square miles with 2,000-foot walls and contains almost every East African wildlife species, including rare black rhinos. Inside you'll find a river, swamps, a soda lake with flamingos, forest sections, and open plains. You'll arrive in time for a sundowner.

Landmarks/POIs Ngorongoro Crater - Day 4
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
You'll start before dawn and descend onto the crater floor for a morning of wildlife viewing in this remarkable location. After the game drive, lunch happens near Hippo Lake with a picnic setup. A short afternoon game drive follows, then you'll ascend back out of the crater and leave the Ngorongoro Conservation Area heading toward Arusha, arriving around 5 pm.
