Itinerary
- Day 1
Bay of the Bones Museum and Monastery of Saint Naum
Start your day at the Bay of the Bones Museum, where you'll find a reconstruction of a prehistoric pile-dwelling settlement dating back roughly 3,000 years. The museum gives you a sense of how people lived on the lake's edge in ancient times. After spending a couple hours there, head to the Monastery of Saint Naum, a 10th-century church situated near some natural springs. The area around the monastery is set up for relaxation and water activities, so you can rent a rowing boat, grab lunch at one of the restaurants nearby, or spend time swimming in the beach areas.
