Itinerary
- Day 1
Bari
You'll arrive in Bari and transfer to Masseria Salamina, a 17th-century farmhouse hotel set among olive groves. After settling in, take a guided tour of the property to learn about its history and the organic farming operations happening on the grounds. Your first yoga session follows, then head to dinner where the restaurant serves organic farm-to-table cuisine made from produce grown right here at the masseria.

Ostuni
Start early with dawn yoga, then drive along the coast to begin your walking explorations. You'll walk about 2.5 hours through open plains and dry river valleys called lamas, following ancient Roman Trajan's Way and spotting evidence of Neolithic habitation. The walk ends in Ostuni, the 'white town', where you'll wander through whitewashed hilltop buildings and narrow streets with views over olive groves. Back at the masseria, you'll have yoga and dinner.

Winery - Cooking Class
After morning yoga, head to Alberobello, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its distinctive trulli houses with conical roofs from 300-400 years ago. Lunch happens at a former olive oil mill, then you'll explore the streets on a guided tour learning about trulli construction and what the roof markings symbolize. Stop at a family winery for tastings of traditional Puglia wine varieties. Back at the masseria, do evening yoga before joining a hands-on cooking class with a local chef on traditional Puglia dishes, finishing with dinner you'll have prepared together.

- Day 4
Basilicata Region
After yoga, travel to Matera in neighboring Basilicata, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the world's oldest continuously inhabited settlements. Spend the morning in the sassi cave area exploring houses carved into rock faces, stepping inside a typical rock dwelling, and visiting a cave church with Byzantine frescoes. Lunch features Basilicata specialties. In the afternoon, walk along the gravina river valley to see cave churches and historical monk settlements. Evening includes yoga and an optional massage back at your accommodation, followed by a private performance of pizzica, a traditional local folk dance.

- Day 5
Polignano a Mare
Begin with yoga, then visit an organic olive oil estate with centuries-old trees where you can see ancient Roman agricultural remains and medieval artifacts. Try a degustation of different olive oil varieties. Lunch at a family property serves classic Pugliese dishes. Afterward, you'll have time to rest back at the masseria, do more yoga, and swim. Later, head to the coastal town of Polignano a Mare, which sits dramatically on a rocky promontory above turquoise Adriatic waters.

Locorotondo
After yoga, walk through the Valle d'Itria high plateau along a scenic route that was once an old water supply route. The path winds through olive and almond trees, artichokes, and capers where you can see how local life follows seasonal planting and harvest cycles. You'll reach Locorotondo, a hilltop town voted one of Italy's most beautiful villages, with its compact circular center featuring historic baroque archways and charming narrow lanes.

Departure from Bari
