**Exceptional South African Adventure with Cardi, Ricardo, and Patrick** Our recent journey through South Africa was truly unforgettable, and much of that is thanks to the incredible team guiding us: Cardi, Ricardo, and Patrick. **Cardi**, our tour guide, was an absolute geml. Her deep knowledge of South African history, culture, and wildlife made each day a fascinating adventure. She had a wonderful way of bringing stories to life, connecting us with the essence of the places we visited. Cardi was always attentive to our needs, ensuring we were comfortable, engaged, safe, and having the time of our lives. Her passion for her work is truly contagious, and she made sure that every moment of our trip was both educational and fun. **Ricardo**, camp chef that complemented Cardi perfectly. His enthusiasm and energy added an extra layer of excitement to our journey. Ricardo's insights into local traditions and his ability to navigate us through the most scenic routes made every excursion special. His friendly demeanor and readiness to answer any question—no matter how small—made us feel welcomed and well taken care of. Not to mention the meals he prepared were fantastic!! **Patrick**, our bus driver, was exceptional as well. Navigating the roads of South Africa is no small feat, but Patrick did so with the utmost skill and professionalism. We always felt safe and at ease in his capable hands. Patrick was also incredibly friendly and approachable, often sharing his own stories and local knowledge, which added another dimension to our experience. His punctuality and reliability ensured that our trip ran smoothly from start to finish.. Cardi, Ricardo, and Patrick made our South Africa safari adventure truly extraordinary. Their dedication, expertise, and warm personalities transformed our trip into a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We couldn't have asked for a better team to guide us through this beautiful country. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed the trip. The guides were all very nice and were able to tell us lots of facts. We only awarded 4 stars because the organization on site was not perfect. For example, we had to contact the local agency several times for the airport transfer as the pick-up time was not clear. Unfortunately, the tour operator did not allow us to visit Johannesburg due to the security situation. The rest of the trip went very well, the trip to Kruger National Park was very interesting, the stay in the lodge was very pleasant, getting up early for the excursions was tedious, but then it paid off. The excursions in Cape Town were just as interesting.

Fabulous - No safari can guarantee that you will see everything you want to but very happy with what I did see. Photos shown were taken with either a low spec phone or a pocket camera – those with better phones or better spec cameras have far superior pictures Group leader ‘Lucky Steve’ was excellent as were the drivers. During a trip briefing a few years ago, a guide said ‘if you want home, stay at home’….many of the roads were bumpy. Services such as hot showers are not guaranteed. Wi-Fi was available albeit sometimes only in reception and restaurant areas and could be patchy. Food was a bit samey. Some variance to the trip notes. Accommodation was generally acceptable and one lodge was more like glamping. Caution regards money – many places / accommodations didn’t accept credit cards for additional expenses. Also, the Tanzanian government are trying to stop payments in US dollars (doesn’t apply inside Serengeti National Park) although this was being flouted. The optional elephant caves trip – whilst the trip notes provided a price in $, payment needed to be in cash (Tanzanian Schilling). In Zanzibar, credit cards were accepted and many prices in $. Zanzibar - optional walking tour in Stone Town was good and very informative; the guide (‘Ali’), clearly-spoken and funny (when he put on a cockney accent). The optional ‘spices’ tour was also good. Accommodation much higher standard.
