Itinerary
- Day 1
Tirana to Korça
You'll land at Mother Teresa Airport in Tirana and head to your hotel to settle in. From there, start exploring the capital by checking out the National Historical Museum, which covers Albania's history pretty comprehensively. After that, walk around Skanderbeg Square where you'll see the Ethem Bey Mosque, the Clock Tower, and various other landmarks scattered around the plaza. Later in the day, you'll drive south through Elbasan toward Lake Ohrid, arriving at Tushemisht to see the unique spring-fed canals. By evening, you'll reach Korça for a walking tour through the city center and the Old Bazaar before settling into your hotel for the night.

- Day 2
Korça to Permet
After breakfast, you'll head to Voskopoja, a small village in the Albanian countryside, for a leisurely walk and a chance to see historic churches with remarkable frescoes inside. The drive takes you through scenic landscape, and then you'll stop at Langarica Canyon to explore the natural surroundings and cool off in the hot springs at Benja Village. From there, continue on to Permet, which sits along the Vjosa River, and you'll have free time to walk around, relax, and grab dinner wherever appeals to you.

- Day 3
Permet to Gjirokastra
You'll drive to Gjirokastra after breakfast, a UNESCO World Heritage site known as the 'City of Stone' because of its distinctive architecture. Head up to Gjirokastra Castle for views over the town and visit the Weapons Museum there. Wander through the Neck of the Bazaar where you can watch traditional stone carvers working on their craft. Spend time at the Skendulaj House museum and the Skendulaj Fortress, plus visit the former political prison to understand Albania's recent past. The evening is free, so you can either walk the historic streets or find a place for dinner.

- Day 4
Gjirokastra to Saranda to Gjirokastra
The drive to Saranda takes you along the coast with views across the Ionian Sea toward Corfu Island. Once there, take a leisurely walk along the waterfront before heading to Butrint Archaeological Site, a UNESCO World Heritage location with ancient Greek and Roman remains including a theatre, baths, and basilica. Afterward, head to Ksamil village nearby to relax and swim on the beaches. You'll return to Gjirokastra in the evening.

- Day 5
Gjirokastra to Tirana
After breakfast, you'll drive to Berat, another UNESCO World Heritage city with a lot of character. Check out the Berat Fortress, which still has people living there in traditional houses, giving it a lived-in feel. Visit the Onufri Museum located in Sainte-Marie Church to see Byzantine and Ottoman religious icons and artwork. Have lunch with fortress views, then walk through the Mangalem and Gorica neighborhoods, where you'll see Ottoman-style houses lining the streets and alleys. Later, drive back to Tirana and stay overnight to wrap up your tour.
