Itinerary
- Day 1
London to Dublin
Check in at London Euston Station for the 09:02 train to Holyhead. The 3 hour 40 minute journey takes you through England and along the North Wales coast, offering some nice views as you head north. After a short bus transfer, you'll board the Irish Ferries 'Ulysses' for the 3 hour 15 minute ferry crossing to Dublin. You arrive at 17:25 and get transferred to your hotel in Dublin City Centre for a 3-night stay.

Dublin
Start with a full Irish breakfast, then the day is yours to explore Dublin using your 48-hour Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour ticket. The drivers are Fáilte Ireland approved and provide live commentary in multiple languages, sharing stories and history about the city's past. You can hop on and off whenever you like, moving through Dublin at your own pace and checking out whatever interests you most.

- Day 3
Dublin to Cork, Blarney Castle & Cobh
After breakfast, head to Dublin Heuston Station for the 07:00 departure. The train travels through County Kildare's fertile countryside, passing Newbridge Silverware and the famous Curragh racecourse before reaching Cork at 09:35. From there, you'll transfer to your tour coach and visit Blarney Castle to kiss the famous stone, then continue to Cobh to see St. Colman's Cathedral and explore the Cobh Heritage Centre. An evening train takes you to Killarney, where you arrive in time for dinner and have the evening free to wander around town.

- Day 4
Killarney Ring of Kerry Tour
After a leisurely breakfast, you'll depart on the Ring of Kerry tour, a scenic route circling the MacGillycuddy Reeks mountain range. Multiple photo stops break up the journey, and there's a lunch opportunity along the way. You'll see Carrauntouhil at 1,041 metres (3,415 feet), Ireland's highest mountain, plus the Kerry Bog Village Museum which gives insight into 18th-century rural life. The route takes you through Glenbeigh, Waterville, and Sneem with views of Ladies View and the Lakes of Killarney National Park, and you can also see toward the Skellig Rocks. You return to Killarney for your second night there.

- Day 5
Dingle Peninsula & Return to Dublin
After breakfast, you'll explore the Dingle Peninsula with its rugged Atlantic coastline and pre-historic sites. Head to Slea Head, the most westerly point in Europe, where the views stretch toward America and the Blasket Islands. You'll discover the Gallarus Oratory and experience the Irish-speaking region with its strong cultural heritage. Later, you return to Killarney Station at 17:35 for the evening train to Mallow, then continue on the intercity service to Dublin, arriving at Dublin Heuston at 21:00.

- Day 6
Dublin to London
Your Railtours Ireland host will transfer you to Dublin ferry port for the journey home. Board the Irish Ferries 'Ulysses' at 08:05 and sail to Holyhead, arriving at 11:30. From there, catch your train to London Euston Station, arriving at 16:38 (Monday through Saturday) or 16:44 (Sunday service with a change at Crewe).
