You'll arrive at New Delhi airport where an Alkof Holidays representative meets you for the transfer to your hotel. The rest of your day is yours to wander around the city on your own, checking out the busy streets and tree-lined boulevards at whatever pace feels right.

New Delhi
This is a full day exploring Delhi. Start at Rajghat, the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, then head to Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque. You'll take a rickshaw through Chandni Chowk market, which gives you a real feel for the local energy. Later you'll drive past the Presidential House and India Gate before checking out Humayun's Tomb. The day wraps up at Qutab Minar, a historic brick minaret that's pretty impressive.

After breakfast you'll travel to Agra and settle into your hotel. Once you've freshened up, visit Itmad-ud-Daulah and Agra Fort to get a sense of the architecture and history. Your evening is free, so you can wander through Agra's markets looking for handicrafts and souvenirs if that interests you.

Agra to Jaipur
You'll need to get up early for sunrise at the Taj Mahal, which is worth it for the light and fewer crowds. After heading back for breakfast, you'll depart for Jaipur. On the way, you'll stop at Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO site that was built as a capital by Mughal Emperor Akbar back in the 16th century.

Jaipur
Following breakfast, you have a guided tour of Jaipur covering quite a bit. Amber Fort sits up on a hill with great views of the city. You'll see Jal Mahal, the water palace in Man Sagar Lake, then move through City Palace, the Jantar Mantar observatory, and Hawa Mahal with its detailed facade. Albert Hall Museum and Birla Mandir temple round out the day.

Jaipur to Pushkar
After breakfast, head to Pushkar and check into your hotel. Pushkar Lake is a sacred pilgrimage spot ringed by 52 bathing ghats. Visit Brahma Ji Temple, which is the only temple in the world dedicated to Brahma, then check out the cattle fair ground that's famous for its annual fair. You'll have the rest of the day free to relax or explore more on your own.

Pushkar to Udaipur
You'll depart for Udaipur after breakfast and check in at your hotel. If there's still time, you can visit two temples in the area: the 10th-century Sahasra Bahu temples dedicated to Vishnu at Nagda and the 8th-century Shri Ekling Ji Temple. Both have remarkable architecture worth seeing if you're up for it.

- Day 8
Udaipur
Following breakfast, check out Sahelion-Ki-Bari, a garden originally designed for royal women. The Museum of Folk Art has traditional costumes, puppets, and musical instruments that give insight into local culture. Then tour City Palace, one of India's largest palace complexes with impressive details like peacock mosaics and miniature wall paintings. The day ends with a boat ride on Lake Pichola, which is really peaceful.

After breakfast your driver takes you to Udaipur Airport for your flight to New Delhi. When you land at IGI Airport, your local representative will be there to transfer you to your hotel for the night.

New Delhi to Kathmandu to Nagarkot
Following breakfast, you'll head to IGI Airport in New Delhi for your flight to Kathmandu. As you fly, you'll have views of snow-capped Himalayan peaks from the window. After landing at Tribhuvan International Airport, your representative escorts you to Nagarkot, a hill station where you can see sunrise and sunset views over the Himalayas. You'll stay overnight there.

Nagarkot to Bhaktapur to Kathmandu
Start early to watch sunrise over the Himalayas from Nagarkot, then have breakfast before driving to Bhaktapur. Bhaktapur Durbar Square has old temples and narrow streets worth walking through. Next you'll head to Boudhanath, one of Nepal's largest stupas, where you can sit and watch monks in prayer, soaking in the spiritual atmosphere. Later, drive to Kathmandu and check into your hotel.

Kathmandu
After breakfast, explore Kathmandu starting with Swayambhunath Stupa, a 2000-year-old Buddhist stupa on a hill west of the city that locals call the 'Monkey Temple' because of the monkeys there. A 20-minute rickshaw ride takes you to Thamel, the main tourist area with shops and restaurants. Visit Kathmandu Durbar Square with the Royal Palace, Taleju Temple, and Kashasthamandap pagoda, then head to Patan Durbar Square about 5 km away, known as the 'City of Artisans' for its Newari architecture.
