Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park
You'll land at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and connect with your driver-guide right away. After getting a safari briefing to prepare you, head out to Lake Nakuru National Park for your first game drive. The park holds Kenya's largest rhino population and you'll see Lion Hills, Makalia waterfalls, yellow acacia woodlands, and lots of birdlife with flamingos and pelicans around.

Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast at your hotel, the drive to Maasai Mara Game Reserve takes several hours. You'll have lunch once you arrive, then head out for an afternoon game drive. This reserve is known for its wildlife variety and appeared in documentaries like Big Cat Diary and Disney's African Cats. It's considered essential for any Kenya safari.

- Day 3
Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Following breakfast, you can pick how you want to structure your game drives. Go for a full day with packed picnic lunches, or do morning and afternoon drives with lunch back at the hotel. If you're interested, there's an optional balloon ride departing at 5:30 am to see the plains at sunrise from above, followed by a bush breakfast with champagne.

Maasai Mara to Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, head to Lake Naivasha for a boat ride and bird-watching. You'll arrive in time for lunch and can rest in the afternoon. Then at 4 pm, go out on another evening boat ride to see more birds. This freshwater lake has excellent scenic boat rides and is the entry point to Crescent Island. Expect to see fish eagles, ospreys, herons, hippos, and other wildlife.

Lake Naivasha to Amboseli National Park
Following breakfast, drive to Amboseli National Park, which sits 260 km (160 miles) from Nairobi near the Tanzanian border. The park is famous for Mount Kilimanjaro's snow-capped peak showing on clear days. Large herds of free-roaming African elephants live here, plus buffalo, impala, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and many bird species.

- Day 6
Amboseli National Park
Start with breakfast, then spend the day doing game drives throughout Amboseli. You can choose between a picnic lunch during drives or morning and afternoon drives with a lunch break at your hotel. The park sits at Mount Kilimanjaro's base and is about 150 miles southeast of Nairobi. There's also an optional visit to a Maasai Cultural Village if you want to add that.

Have breakfast at the hotel, then drive back to Nairobi. If you want lunch at a city restaurant, you'll arrange and pay for that separately. From there, transfer to the airport in time for your departure flight.
