Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport
You'll arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and get picked up by staff who'll take you to your hotel or lodge for check-in.

- Day 2
Nairobi to Masai Mara
After breakfast, you're heading out at 8am toward Masai Mara, stopping at the Great Rift Valley for views along the way. The drive covers about 250 kilometers through Narok town and Masai country before you reach Sentrim Mara Camp for lunch. Later that afternoon, you'll get on an evening game drive to start spotting wildlife.

- Day 3
Masai Mara Game Reserve
Following breakfast, you'll spend the full day game viewing with a packed lunch at the hippo pool where crocodiles and hippos hang out. You might see wildebeest, zebra, lions, cheetahs, and elephants throughout the day. There's an option to visit a Masai manyatta to see their traditional dances and learn about their culture. You'll head back by around 6:45pm.

Masai Mara Game Reserve
Start early with a pre-breakfast game drive before heading to camp for lunch. In the afternoon, you can choose to do another game drive, swim at the lodge, or take a nature walk with armed Maasai guides.

Landmarks Masai Mara Game Reserve - Day 5
Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, you'll leave Masai Mara and head toward Lake Nakuru, about 250 kilometers away, passing Lake Naivasha and Mount Longonot. Lunch happens at Sarova Lion Hill game lodge. The afternoon brings a game drive around Lake Nakuru to search for rhinos and flamingoes. You'll stay overnight at Merica Hotel.

Lake Nakuru to Samburu Game Reserve
Departing after breakfast, you're heading to Samburu Game Reserve covering roughly 300 kilometers. You'll stop at Thompson Falls, named after 19th-century explorer Joseph Thompson, and cross the equator about 8 times during the drive. Lunch is at Ashnil Camp. Later you'll have time to relax before heading out for a game drive.

Samburu Game Reserve
Today you're exploring Samburu Game Reserve where you'll see unique wildlife like reticulated giraffes, Grevy's zebras, Somali ostriches, gerenuks, and beisaoryx. After lunch at camp, there are optional paid activities in the late afternoon including nature walks, visits to Samburu villages, or swimming in the pool.

Landmarks Samburu Game Reserve - Day 8
Samburu to Nairobi
After breakfast, you're heading back to Nairobi, a 300-kilometer drive with views of Mount Kenya's peak if weather cooperates. You'll pass through tea and coffee plantations on the way. Lunch is complimentary at the Carnivore Restaurant. From there, you can either extend to Mombasa for a beach portion or transfer to the airport to finish your safari.
